When my puppy Sven was just 3 months old, he nearly lost his life due to intussusception, caused by severe diarrhoea. Sadly, the breeders hid the fact that he had been suffering with diarrhoea, and by the time we realised, his intestines had telescoped and were protruding — it was absolutely horrific and traumatic. He was hours away from death. We were told he needed emergency surgery immediately, otherwise he would not survive the next day. Other vet quotes were around £8,000, which I simply did not have. I was facing the unthinkable possibility of having to put my puppy to sleep purely due to finances. Although Fauna Vets do not usually perform complex surgeries, they still took Sven on, fully aware of my situation and knowing that the alternative was euthanasia. They charged me significantly less, which showed me straight away that they are not driven by money — they genuinely wanted to save Sven’s life. The surgery started midday and continued until late evening. The team worked relentlessly, staying in constant contact with other surgeons to make sure everything was done perfectly. The operation turned out to be far more complex than expected, as the damage was worse than they initially thought. Sven stayed with them until the evening of the following day, receiving intensive care, antibiotics, and close monitoring. Throughout this entire time, the team were constantly in touch with me, updating me and reassuring me at every step. What touched me even more was their care after the surgery. During the weeks of healing that followed, they continued to call and check in, asking how Sven was doing and offering guidance and support. That level of compassion is incredibly rare. By what can only be described as a miracle, Sven pulled through and healed. Fauna Vets are true angels. Their kindness, compassion, dedication, and genuine commitment to helping animals and their owners is something I will never forget. We are forever grateful. Sven is alive today because of them. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 🤍🐾

Dr Punit at Fauna Veterinary Clinic is a truly wonderful human being and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND his practice. His approach is incredibly kind, thoughtful and patient, and he was so lovely and gentle with my two Chihuahuas, which is extremely reassuring when your fur babies need surgery. Very sensible prices, given the fact that so many vets are being bought out by investment companies, and as such many pet owners are experiencing huge vet bill increases - I saved £300 coming here, but gained so much more in terms of trust, honesty and reassurance. Likewise the clinic is beautiful and clean, with a super friendly welcome - all ‘patients’ are offered treats, and spoilt with attention. Amazing experience.

Friendly, professional veterinary practice in the heart of Northwood. Max had an eye issue at Christmas, and he was seen without delay. Meaning the whole family could relax and enjoy the festive season. Highly recommended

We travel from Wembley to come here. I’m originally from the North of England and this is by far the best vets I’ve ever been to. Very calm, friendly, slow paced and patient making it the best environment for our mini-dachshund who is very nervous. Wouldn’t go anywhere else, he is so looked after here and didn’t even want to leave after his visit today as he was so spoilt whilst getting his annual booster (see picture below🤣)

Fauna Vets took amazing care of Jesse from the day she got her nasty injury while walking in Ruislip woods until she fully recovered 12 weeks later. She loved going to Fauna Vets and during those 12 weeks it was like her second home! Everyone was so caring and genuinely concerned about Jesse - very different from the previous vets we used. If you have any issues with your pet I would recommend 110% that you go to Fauna Vets as they will take great care of your pet.
