My dog was seen by a lovely young vet who was very kind and caring to my dog and myself. He answered all my questions with respect and with a quiet confidence and didn’t make me feel like a fool for asking them. I would highly recommend Gortlands Vets

Gortlands have looked after my dog for years and he strangely loves it there (that's like me loving the doctors which makes no sense). The staff are brilliant with him. Theyre all very friendly and attentive and even have time to explain any issues when I don't have a clue about medical dog terminology. A small but useful thing is the email reminders as I'd forget. They come through for the yearly vaccines, invoice receipts etc I'll never look anywhere else for a vets

My family vets since childhood and values haven't changed, still the Top Vets at affordable prices! The receptionists slotted me in at last minute and are very friendly and helpful. I saw Verla today, she was lovely, she showed her expertise and knowledge on dealing with a very stubborn and headstrong Basenji, with compassion and grace in a difficult situation. I was very impressed with her knowledge too about my other pets who she has never even seen before but gave me advice and updates on new meds. My other dog recently had surgery there with Alex, who was first class in his diagnosis and I am so pleased that everything went really well and was dealt with so quickly and efficiently and that the problem is now fixed. Gortlands Clinic has cared for my pets for many years. I have found their vets to be professional and pragmatic, never forcing a 'hard sell' on treatments but walking me through the options. On the awful occasions where it was time to say goodbye to my older pets, their staff were realistic, and I never once felt 'given the squeeze' to continue a medicine or treatment. They have friendly and helpful reception staff too.

Gortlands veterinary practice are caring and provide an excellent service without the rip off prices other practices may charge. We have used Gortlands for over 25 years for our various pets and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Absolutely brilliant veterinary practice, the staff are so caring. Recently my 14 year old shih tzu Jessie has been seen by Charlotte, an absolutely amazing vet Charlotte takes her time explaining everything which makes things that little bit easier. Charlotte has the most caring empathetic nature. Thank you 🐶♥️

I got Syde neutered today and staff has been so welcoming, reassuring and helpful throughout the entire process. I could not thank the Gortlands team enough!! Syde has been giving us the side eyes since but eventually came round lol! Thank you🩷

Had my new kitten up yesterday for a check up & first vaccinations & flea & worm treatment. Joined their monthly cat plan so paid considerably less than I would have normally. Was offered a free months pet insurance too. All vets really nice & friendly. Have been coming here for years with my various cats. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
