Welcome to Grange Vets, the friendly and caring veterinary practice located in the heart of Darlington, County Durham. With experienced and qualified personnel along with modern facilities, Grange Vets is your go-to medical center for all your pet-related needs.

Grange Vets believes that pets are family members, and thus offer compassionate veterinary care with state-of-the-art facilities. Our availability is from Monday to Saturday, where we open at 9:00 am and close at 7:30 pm on weekdays, with a slightly earlier close at 4:30 pm on Saturdays. Unfortunately, we are closed on Sundays, but we believe that pets’ health should never wait.

Our team comprises expert veterinary surgeons and nurses, who all share a passion for animals and their welfare. Our principal veterinarian Miss Angela Pickering, BVM&S MRCVS, is highly qualified and experienced in both medical and surgical fields, leading our team with utmost professionalism. We have other vets, including Miss Veronica Currington, BVetMed MRCVS, Miss Lisa Haidon, BVSc MRCVS, and Dr Nicole Marshall, BVSc MRCVS, who are equally competent and capable of providing top-notch veterinary care to all pets. We also have a team of skilled veterinary nurses, including Miss Lianne Atkinson, RVN, Miss Tracy Frost, RVN, Mrs Deborah Grimes, RVN, Miss Victoria Jarman, RVN, and Mrs Elaine Pollock, RVN, who are always present to take care of your pets.

We handle all types of pets, including birds, cats, dogs, exotic, wild, and small mammals. We have modern and well-equipped facilities that enable us to provide our clients with the highest quality of veterinary care. Our medical rooms are equipped with the latest technology, and we pride ourselves on our diagnostic and surgical abilities. With our team’s expertise, we can perform routine surgeries and clinical procedures such as neutering, dental check-ups, and vaccinations with the utmost care and precision.

At Grange Vets, we offer an array of excellent facilities, including weekend opening hours, client car park, and disabled public access. Our team is always available to provide you with all the assistance you need, from addressing your pet’s worries to any general questions you may want to ask.
