Many thanks to Alison. Not only did she treat my Sophie with compassion and professionalism, she also persisted with an insurance claim my company had told me was not valid. Today I was credited with £1600. Thank you Alison.

Alison is the most wonderful vet, she's looked after all our sharpeis over the years. Can't fault her in anyway.

My family have been with this vet's practice for as long as I can remember, so when I left home, they were my first choice to register my own pets. The staff here have always been compassionate and professional with all of my animals. Alison Johnson is by far one of the most caring people I have ever met and it is a pleasure to watch her doing her job. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, she is also calm, kind, caring and compassionate towards the animals and the owners. My cat had recently been diagnosed with a disease, which, without medication, would have killed him. The disease was the first case to be treated by Alison and her team, as the medication had only recently been legalised in the UK for veterinary use. Before this, the only option for my boy would have been euthanasia. Johnson and Woods went above and beyond to get the medication at the lowest price they could for me, as well as researching the best course of action for treating it and listening to me, when I found advise and research, about the disease, from other sources. Without them, my cat wouldn't be here today and I am eternally grateful for everything that they did to help him on his road to recovery....❤️

I wouldn't advice any one to go here, all they see is pound signs on your pet, test results that take 5 weeks and still no answers it cost £600.00 pound and no results the receptionist are a disgrace.

Vile! This is my 2nd horrific experience with this vets! I took my cat to be put to sleep, when I was told she was perfectly healthy and would live many years with a simple medication, we expressed how we didn’t fully believe this as she was very unwell. The vet told us that he was not putting her to sleep and he wasn’t being “forced” to do so when she was “perfectly healthy” and insisted on doing bloodwork to be able to give her medication. We was very happy when he told us this information as she’s a big part of the family. The blood results came back, we was taken back into the room and told it wasn’t what he thought and she needed to be put to sleep. He was horendusly rude and disregarded our feelings and traumatised us even more than necessary. I will not be returning to this vets and advise everyone to go somewhere else!! The lady whoever who works there with the tattoos was wonderful and tried to comfort us to the best of her ability. Apart from that it was an awful experience made even harder than it ever needed to be and to be spoken to like that was very unjustified!!

Always diagnose with the wrong thing so that you have to go back and then they can charge you again. Has happened every time I’ve took my dog in with something. Last time he had very obviously had an allergic reaction to something and they charged my dad who’d took him over £100 for a flea tablet when he very clearly didn’t have fleas and now are wanting more money to see him again and then more to order allergy tests which should have been ordered first time round. Every single time we’ve been he’s always been treated with the wrong thing or given an ineffective treatment so we’ve had to go back multiple times. Either really unknowledgeable vets or just trying to make money.
