I just wanted to leave a review as I’ve been to the vet today with my fearful Bulgarian rescue dog for the first time. I was very anxious about it as we don’t live nearby and we have been struggling with reactivity towards people and dogs. I explained this on the phone and we were met outside by the vet who made sure we could get inside safely and calmly with the least amount of stress for my dog. We were treated with understanding and kindness which really put my mind at ease and helped my dog who was visibly calmer by the end of the visit. I am relieved and thankful to have a new vet I can trust who I know will explain things to me and treat my dog gently and with understanding. We have made a plan for future visits and it was very helpful to have a stress free socialisation visit today. We also were grateful for the treats available to buy on the way out for reasonable prices having used up all of ours in the consultation room. My dog enjoyed his pigs ear on the way home and it helped him decompress. Thank you for helping us today, we appreciate the kind professionalism and understanding you showed us

We highly recommend this practice. When we had to say goodbye to our elderly cat Catrina explained things clearly and with compassion. Thank you to the whole team for being so caring.

Can’t recommend them enough. My dog had a minor accident while we were away on holiday and the team at Johnston & Farrell were the most helpful, friendly and accommodating I’ve ever seen. Wish they were in Glasgow so they could be our full time vet! Thank you again!

Best thing I ever did for my dog was change to J&F vets in Tain. The service is second to none by all of the staff. You get the feeling they genuinely care for your pets.

Great out of hours service for our unwell 10 year old dog. Our dog was unwell over night, so much so felt I needed to utilise the services 24 hour system. The phone was answered by Kate who after hearing of our Mollys issues asked us to attend the clinic just after 7:30 am. Molly was kept in all day, had bloods and a scan and placed on a saline drip. It's so reassuring knowing that Johnston & Farrell are there for us 24/7. Thanks so much Kate, you are a real credit to your profession.
