You always get a nice welcome from the receptionist & nurses, then when we get into see our vet of choice Pete O’Brian he’s always welcoming & caring about how my Dougal is doing. He’s a very caring & professional vet never makes you feel stupid for asking what you may feel is a silly question. We travel from Abergele to see him & I can tell you it’s well worth the visit.

Very friendly staff. Came here for a hydrotherapy session. Jo was calm and reassuring. My dog responded well to her handling. Everything was taken slowly so as not to stress him. I would highly recommend it.

I've been to many vets over the years as I've lived all over the UK. This is by far the most amazing and compassionate team I've ever come across. They are amazing.

I unfortunately we lost our much loved little Rabbit “Blossom” a few weeks ago and had several visits to village vets with regards to her being very unwell over the space of 48hrs. The overall treatment Blossom received was very good and all the vets kept me informed and were very helpful in fitting her into an appointment slot as this was a becoming an emergency. I would like to thank village vets for the help and support I was given for Blossom. I would also like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to 2 members of staff Emmy and Lauren from your Buckley branch who were absolutely brilliant with Blossom and myself and my daughter. Not only did they do their absolute best in terms of treatment they administered but we could genuinely tell the were rooting for Blossom and we’re doing everything they could do help and get a positive outcome. Sadly Blossom didn’t have the outcome we all hoped for, which was incredibly sad, however both Lauren and Emmy made a very difficult and sad time that little bit easier, and that meant an awful lot to both myself and my daughter Freya! Thank you Lauren and thank you Emmy your condolence card and phone call and overall support, it really did mean a lot, you are both fantastic ambassadors for village vets!

Cat - Dental removal. I can’t thank the team at Village Vets & Meadowbank enough for the amazing care they gave to my cat, Jasper, during his recent dental treatment. Alistair carried out Jasper’s procedure and was absolutely brilliant – he explained everything clearly and made us feel reassured that Jasper was in the best possible hands. After the dental work, Jasper unfortunately refused to eat and his weight dropped from 5.1kg to 4.5kg, which was really worrying as we know how quickly cats can develop further health issues when they stop eating. Linda was fantastic with her follow-up care and advice. She took our concerns seriously and recommended an appetite enhancer, which made such a difference. Thanks to her support, Jasper is now eating again and is back to his fighting weight of just over 5kg! All of the reception staff, as well as the vet nurse Lyndsey, were also superb — professional, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout. We’re so grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and genuine care shown by the whole team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a vet they can truly trust.

I cannot recommend this vets highly enough. This is the first time using Village Vets having left a very disappointing veterinary practice in Mold. Peter came highly recommended by my dog groomer and I can absolutely see why. From the moment I met Peter I felt at ease. So warm and friendly. Shook my hand and introduced himself. My dog was completely calm and relaxed around him too! He carried out a scale and polish and removed 2 teeth. He called and reassured me on the phone after the procedure and 24 hours later my dog is eating, drinking and bouncing around the house again. His teeth are exceptional. Pearly white with no plaque in sight. Peter even pointed out that they had an offer on the scale and polish, which was a very reasonable price, and I do not feel ripped off in the slightest. The nurse that took me through the aftercare was also exceptional and you could tell that this is so much more than just a job to her, she was amazing. And last but not least the reception team, with their friendly face and warm demeanour. Thank you so much what an incredible team. A+++
