Avoid for international moves – Hannah had zero expertise, proactive key information and an attitude. If you're moving a pet, the lack of expertise, disregard and defensive attitude here is a massive risk. Thank you Travel Vet, and Flypets for a service that values professionalism and courtesy. Hugely disappointed seeing the practice has high ratings. I reached out about exporting my Cat to Australia, but it took 12 days and multiple follow-ups to get any response. One liners, no costs, no timelines, no information, "yeah, call and book." For a practice offering specialised export services, surely the gatekeeper should have basic services information to hand? A templated email, a pdf attachment, a link. The lack of professionalism is a major red flag. When Hannah finally replied, she admitted she wasn't sure what was required. She hadn't read the emails with the information, clearly. She then tried to blame me for the delay because I didn't "call," and after 12 days then said the vet is away, not free for the initial date I needed and I should look elsewhere. Hannah can ignore clinical questions for two weeks but reply the same day once you mention a complaint, and suddenly get catty, defensive paragraphs.

Hello, I would strongly advise everyone that has a pet to stay away from this practice, first and foremost the Ivana the veterinarian is a person that lacks compassion and any regards to animal wellbeing, she is only interested in the money and nothing else. Last time we were there with our little 7 month kitten with a clear as crystal bacterian infection giardiosis, she was more than happy to take £500 off us for tests that came back irrelevant and she only released antiparasitic treatment after I heavily insisted to be given it as I strongly believed the kitten had giardiosis, now I am not a vet, but anyone with a phone and an AI can pretty much narrow down to 97% accuracy a simple bacterian infection that was causing severe vomitting and diarrhea. Ivana butchered my kitten, she had her out full of blood and scared to bits whilst smiling and saying "she was not happy about taking blood" to which I am sure that was goes behind the curtain is just not gentle in any case. Not only this but also many more treatments we have undergone with both our cats were just abhorrent and we always felt used just for the money and never shown any compassion for our pets. Because of this we have recently cancelled everything with them and we strongly advise that everyone steers clear from this clinic. Moreover, the reception staff are absolutely clueless, they do not know anything and always look at you with a vacant look in their eyes, I am shocked to the level of absolutely disgraceful customer service and pet care. Ivana, if you ever read this review, I hope at one point in your life you are treated the same as you treated my pets and I hope karma gives you in life exactly what you deserve, you absolute horrible human being that you are. To finish off, basically on our last visit I had to diagnose my own pet, insist that I get the treatment she desperately needed and also paid £536 for a disgraceful service! After that we went to a non franchise vet practice and just to test them on their passion and knowledge we told them what the symptoms were and they did not even hesitate to recommend fenbendazole, treatment which does not harm the cats at all even if they have no parasites, also this practice recommends fenbendazole monthly for kittens as a preventative measure because it does not cause any harm. Please, please if you do not want your pet butchered by Ivana, steer well clear from this hellish practice. If I could give -5 stars I would!

I am beyond devastated and angry about the way Medivet handled my cat’s case, and I will be taking this matter further. I took my one-year-old cat to Medivet because he was unwell. After examining him, they told me there was nothing wrong with him and sent us home. No urgency, no further investigation, no concern. Just three days later, my cat’s condition deteriorated rapidly — he stopped eating completely. I rushed him back, terrified. This time, the story was completely different. Suddenly, we were told he urgently needed blood tests and further investigations. After the results came back, we were informed that the only option was to put him to sleep. No clear explanation of how a cat who was supposedly “fine” days earlier was now beyond saving. No meaningful discussion of treatment options. Just pressure. We felt forced into making the most heartbreaking decision of our lives. Under shock, distress, and emotional pressure, we agreed. My beautiful, loving boy was put to sleep. He was only one year old. The inconsistency, lack of transparency, and apparent negligence are unacceptable. Being told one thing and then the complete opposite within days raises serious concerns about competence and standards of care. Throughout this ordeal, it felt like money mattered more than genuinely trying to save my cat’s life. I will live forever with the question of whether my cat could have been saved if this had been handled properly from the beginning. This experience has destroyed my trust, and I will be pursuing this case further. I would strongly advise anyone who truly loves their pet to think very carefully before trusting Medivet with their care.

I find the vet very impersonable. I would almost prefer to request a different vet on another visit. Disappointed as charged £25 to have my cats nails cat during her annual booster appointment. Last time the lovely vet never charged as it took her literally 2 mins. This time however when I got to the desk was informed I needed to pay

Overall a fantastic service. All the staff were extremely friendly and made a big fuss of my dog. My dog is reactive and gets stressed at the vets but the vet we saw was extremely understanding, patient and put the dog at ease. Definitely the best experience my dog has had at a vet to date. Highly recommend
