Have been with the vets for a couple of years, but on our last visit they had a new vet. We were really unhappy with the care received and have now moved our dogs to a different vets

Great vets, the receptionist (scouse) can be quite rude, but my wife loves the staff as does our dog, we travel to come in due to the fact our dog is calm here

I used to love this vets but there have been a couple of issues lately that have made me cautious. They gave me the wrong quantity of my cats meds and yesterday they cancelled my dogs booster that I had booked for today because boosters need to be with vets and not nurses apparently. I booked this appointment in December and the staff member behind the counter chose who to book it with not me. This means my dogs booster which are due this week are now a week late so it’s a good job I hadn’t got the kennels booked! They have made a new appointment but they couldn’t fit me in tomorrow now because they are full but they wouldn’t have been when I made the appointment in December! Just going to keep an eye on things. A previous issue was an overcharge because their system charged me for last year’s booster on my next appointment as well as that appointment even though I paid for the booster at the time of the booster appointment. Vets are lovely and don’t prescribe for the sake of it but I’m just getting a little wary because of the increase in issues

The most incredibly skilled and caring team. I am just home from a lifesaving operation for my beloved boy, carried out in an unexpected emergency by this brilliant veterinary team and I could not be any more grateful for their care and attention. Couldn’t recommend Mersey Vets any more highly, they go above and beyond every day. Thank you so much to all of the staff who always provide such excellent care, but extra special thanks today xxx
