The young lady on reception had a genuine love of dogs and enjoyed interaction with them, she was very bubbly and welcoming. The vet spent time to discuss my dog's problems and we didn't feel rushed or pressured to take further tests. The waiting room is spacious and no nasty smells. Easy check in with a portal on the wall but staff there if needed. My first time with animal trust and will use again.

All the staff at Animal Trust Knotty Ash are incredibly supportive and welcoming. During the euthanasia of my rescue dog Bella, they made us feel as comfortable as possible and allowed us a calming space to comfort and say goodbye to my baby. They worked beautifully to allow my dog to leave this world with dignity and respect. If I decide to rescue another dog in the future, I will definitely be returning to this branch as I trust they will provide the most exceptional care as they did for Bella. Thank you all. May god bless you all.

It’s my second time visiting here with my pup both times have been an emergency and I can’t thank the staff enough. Everyone is so lovely and kind they can’t do enough for you from the receptionist to the vet nurses/ vets, I always leave reassured knowing my pup has been well looked after for not even 1/3 of the price what it would be elsewhere. Couldn’t recommend enough you really are all about the quality of care for animals, Thank you guys me and Hugo appreciate you and can’t thank you enough ❤️

Very welcoming on arrival, staff professional and courteous. Vet gave Poppy a good examination. She the explained what she thought the problem was and how she thought we should treat it. The vet answered all our questions and put our minds at ease. Very happy with the whole experience.

We’ve had consistently fantastic experiences with Animal Trust and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. We have 7 cats, all of whom have been seen by the team. On one occasion we even brought in 6 at once! Staff handled it with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. Every member of staff is incredibly kind and treats our pets with the utmost respect, which really puts us at ease. The free consultations are an absolute lifesaver, especially with so many cats. It means we never have to hesitate if we’re worried about one of them, and that peace of mind is invaluable. We’re also on the PawsAssist pet plan (£19.50 per cat), which has been brilliant value. It includes free annual vaccinations (both primary and boosters), comprehensive parasite treatment when recommended, no prescription or dispensing fees, two free in-house lab tests per year, as well as no fees for eye tests or insurance processing. With multiple pets, this makes a huge difference financially while still ensuring they get the best care. We also had to make the difficult decision to have cat number 8 put to sleep last year, and the team handled it with such compassion, dignity, and sensitivity. It meant a lot to us during a really hard time. Overall, an amazing service. Genuinely caring, accessible, and so focused on animal welfare.

Excellent experience here. Went for a advice on a potential tail amputation for our cat. Their quotation was less than a third of the price that we were quoted at our usual vet. The level of investigation from the vet was superb. Spent time getting to know our cat, went through all previous notes and really spent the time to assess he situation rather than just opting for the highest treatment cost, which sadly we've become accustomed to at other vets. 5* and would recommend to all.

After a bit of a shaky start with getting my prescription wrong repeatedly, this vets has improved considerably. Best part is the free consultation. You will be charged £50+ for this elsewhere. Obviously they can't compete with online sellers of medication on price so if possible always buy online. Staff are polite, friendly and efficient. It's refreshing to see a vets practice that puts the welfare of the animals before profit. We feel our lil man is in safe hands here. Highly recommended by Frank. Thank you Michael. K and Diane .

Amazing that you’ve opened in Liverpool! I no longer need to travel to Birkenhead or Ellesmere Port like I did for the past few years. My first visit with my dog was fantastic — the new location is great, the staff are friendly, and the vet was really helpful. We got quick assistance for my dog and an appointment that fit around my work schedule. Highly recommend the new Animal Trust in Liverpool!

I have just come back from a third visit to the vets. What a place! The staff are so friendly, caring and reassuring. I will say Claire is an excellent receptionist great at her job, makes you feel at ease. The vets were so gentle, thoughtful and above all thorough. Having only had my kitten Minnie for just over 2 weeks, got her from a sad/bad situation....last week thought we were going to have to say goodbye to little Minnie but....the advice, treatment they gave Minnie has literally brought her back to full health Just been for a check up and update. Without exception. the receptionist and vets all overjoyed to see how she's bounced back. This truly is that lost link from the old time vets to these huge veterinary giants that are solely there to bleed you for as much money as they can get. A breath of fresh air! I know where Minnie will be coming if she has any issues. A big Thank you Rosslyn
