Great appointment today, Teddy was seen promptly and everything went smoothly with his vaccination. The vet explained everything to me and told me what she was doing so I understood what was happening. Teddy was very happy too as he got a lot of attention.😂 👍 very happy all round with the service and friendliness of the team , excellent service

The most amazing vet! Like no other, my gypsy (dog) loves to go here having had two operations the staff are always so lovely and are always so polite. great at explaining everything I need to know. It makes the trip to the vet a great experience and one not to be feared as we know we are in great hands! I have never had such good experiences in a vet before and they deserve all the praise they get. They work extremely hard and actually care for animals which shows in the work they do, I alway recommend to everyone I ca when the subject arrises ( Birkenhead animal trust) I couldn’t be thankful enough! ❤️

Since I am being refused a CEO I am writing my complaint here, none of the staff seem to communicate and I am getting nowhere with this now. I am writing to formally escalate a complaint regarding the handling of my account and the conduct of your complaints process. This matter has been managed by your Area practice manager, Jacqueline, however I am now seeking your direct review due to serious concerns about how it has been handled. On 23rd December, I was informed that Jacqueline was on annual leave and that the matter would be investigated upon her return, at which point I would be contacted with the outcome. I therefore awaited further correspondence in good faith. The next communication I received, dated 12th February, did not provide the outcome of any investigation. Instead, it stated that I had failed to set up a payment plan and that my account had been referred to a debt collection agency. At no point did I refuse to set up a payment plan. The issue arose because I was provided with two different outstanding balances in separate emails. I began arranging a payment plan for the lower quoted amount. The balance was subsequently increased by over £300 without explanation. This significant discrepancy was reasonably queried and, as I understood it, was to be investigated upon Jacqueline’s return from annual leave. Instead of receiving clarification, the account was escalated externally on the basis that I had “refused to pay,” which is factually incorrect. Referring a formally disputed amount to debt collection while clarification was outstanding is wholly inappropriate and has caused unnecessary distress. I request: • A full written explanation for the conflicting balances provided• Evidence of where I allegedly refused to set up a payment plan• Immediate suspension of debt recovery action pending full investigation• A formal and independent review of how this complaint has been handled As this matter has now been escalated to CEO level, I expect it to be reviewed independently of the previous complaints handling process. A copy of this correspondence is also being forwarded to my MP. I look forward to your prompt response

Always had very kind and well explained consultations. Never rushed. The operation my dog had to remove an epulis and a tooth went very well at their Elesmere port branch. The cost was half the price quoted by another Wirral vet.

We had to take our cat to the Animal Trust Vets as he is suffering from a serious condition. Obviously we were nervous about leaving him, but the vets and staff were amazing. Our cat will be on medication for the rest of his life, as much as we do not begrudge doing anything for him, we do feel that the prices at Animal Trust are on the high side, when compared to the royal college of veterinary medicine. Would we recommend the service and care, yes, would we recommend the charges No!

I had to write a review for this amazing vets because without them, our precious boy, Otis, was given the most precious prolonged time with us. Unfortunately, yesterday, he was too tired and fell asleep forever and without the support of Paula the cardiologist he wouldn’t have had the extra time he did because of his progressive heart disease. Paula, I wish I could put into words what an angel on this earth you have been. You deserve everything good in this world and we cannot thank you enough from the moment we met you until yesterday, you was so gentle and always calling him “our boy”, that meant the world to us, your care and compassion was unmatched. Otis couldn’t had anyone else more special helping him, each time we’d see you, you gave us hope and yesterday you helped us through that terrible transition like you have everything else. You are a true vet and it shows, there is no one like you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everyone’s support, not only Paula but the support online through the lovely reception staff who cared and asked after Otis. We are not only mourning our boy but the regular visits to the practice to check on him and be greeted by you all. Thank you always, I wish we had more words, please look after our boy till he can come and reunite with us at home, he is so precious. Our boy, our Otis 🤍🪽
