I cannot recommend Animal Trust enough. The surgery is always spotlessly clean, which gives you peace of mind the moment you walk through the door. Compared to other vets, their prices are incredibly fair and much cheaper, making quality pet care accessible when you need it most. To top it off, the staff are always exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It is a massive relief to find a veterinary practice that combines excellent, affordable care with such a brilliant team.

We couldn’t be more thankful for the care and support we received in Ellesmere Port. Willow, our tiny toy poodle was admitted on a Sunday with a suspected broken leg. It was heartbreaking to leave her, but we knew she was in safe hands. The following day, she underwent two surgeries — one on her leg and another to remove a stone from her stomach that had been discovered during a scan. She is now back home, and her wounds are healing really well. Her recovery will take some time, but we are incredibly grateful for the excellent care she received and for how clearly and compassionately everything was communicated to us throughout the process. The Liverpool branch is now continuing to provide excellent post-surgery care, and we are very thankful for their ongoing support as well. Thank you again to everyone involved.

So we turned up this morning with our 15 week old pup who was choking on something and struggling taking breaths. The reception team were amazing and had someone check her out immediately. Luckily she had come out of it by arrival but we were still absolutely panicking. Molly was seen within minutes and the vet called us in to give us the all clear and that her vitals were fine and to just keep an eye on her. We were honestly expecting a large bill as we are not registered here but it was our closest place to come in an emergency. The vet said no fee as it was just a consultation, we were absolutely gobsmacked aswell as thankful and grateful. What an amazing place with a superb team of people. Thank you all so so much. I love Animal Trust vets. I owe my Alfie's life to them, when he got sick and developed pneumonia last year. I always know "the Perfect One" is in good hands and will be looked after. Staff are courteous and knowledgeable. The clinic is always clean. Prices are very reasonable. I never struggle to get an appointment when I need one! I can't think of anywhere else I would rather take the center of my universe for care!| Alfie and Jeff!

I recently took my kitten to Animal Trust in Ellesmere Port for vaccinations, microchipping, and castration, and I couldn't be happier with the service. From the moment we walked in, the receptionists were incredibly polite and welcoming, which really helped settle my nerves. We were seen promptly, and I was impressed by how easy it is to manage a busy schedule here. I was able to book appointments for the next day and other very short-term slots without any hassle. The nursing staff are fantastic. They took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I knew exactly what to expect with the procedure and aftercare. Most importantly, they handled my kitten with such genuine care and patience. It’s a huge comfort knowing they offer 24/7 A&E services too. Highly recommend this team for anyone looking for professional, compassionate, and efficient care for their pets.

Booked an appointment today by telephone to book a cat in for an urgent blood test due to her health getting worse (following a previous visit in December at animal trust).WE MADE THE RECEPTIONIST AWARE THAT THE CAT MUST BE SEDATED IN ORDER FOR THIS TO HAPPEN OTHERWISE ITS A WASTED APPOINTMENT, THE CAT CANNOT AND WILL NOT ALLOW ANY EXAMINATION. The receptionist said that it’s okay and she will book out a double slot to allow time for sedation. This is exactly what we were told. When we arrive for the appointment which was at 15:30 when I was doing the check in on the IPad it said 15:45 and the receptionist said it had to be moved because people were running late in traffic. I thought okay it’s inconvenient but no one thought to notify me. The appointment ended up being at 16:10. When we seen the vet who was a locum , we wanted to agree the appointment is for blood test to which we were told “no no no it’s only for consultation “ me and my mum were shocked that we just waited 40minutes to be told nothing can be done? She said we cannot do a blood test with sedation that has to be done in the morning and we can’t do it now. We were shocked and disappointment and disgusted with the misinformation from the women who work on reception for 1) giving misinformation and lying 2) wasting our time and wasting the vets time and 3) causing distress to our cat. We expressed to the locum vet that this whole visit is pointless as the cat needs sedation for anything to be done. When we came out to reception we said to the receptionist taking payment that we were told it was with sedation to which the receptionist (who I don’t know if was the one who took our call as I am aware shift patterns can change) said no a double slot was booked out but not for sedation to which we said well we were told it was with sedation otherwise we wouldn’t book it and the receptionist said no we wouldn’t do that we don’t do that. I left angry and outraged at the incompetence of the staff at this place and the incredible miscommunication. Not happy with the service at all and a complaint has been out forward.

Easy to get appointments. Open 24hrs if an emergency. Friendly, thoughtful Reception staff. There's an area at the back of waiting room just for cats, with dogs at the front. Vets are very kind with my cat (she's quite nervous). Explained everything to me, I didn't feel rushed. He gave advice as well as medicine. Price is very reasonable compared to any other vets I've used in the past. Excellent practice.

A really professional bunch of people who saved my Rottweiler from dying of sepsis from an infected stomach lining to having her happy and running round again in 48 hours. The staff are extremely friendly and made a very traumatic time bearable with their competence and compassion for both my dog and ourselves. Really would recommend them to anyone who has pets. I can’t thank them enough.
