I never usually find the time to leave reviews but I feel like I need to make the effort. The team at Animal Trust, St Helens are second to none. Their vets are fantastic: cheerful, enthusiastic, passionate about the care they provide and are excellent at explaining in detail what they’re doing, why they’re doing it and what they think the outcome will be. The girls at the front reception are really friendly and chatty and easy to speak to, even on the phone. What I love most about this vets is that they’re all down to earth — unlike some other veterinary practices in the area, they don’t judge you or make you feel bad for owning certain breeds or for asking silly questions. I always feel comfortable attending appointments and don’t panic that I’m going to be charged fees I can’t afford or that I will be frowned upon for being cautious about how much things will cost. Before Animal Trust, I would feel sick whenever I knew my girl needed a vet because I was worried I wouldn’t be able to pay but because of their Pet Plan service I don’t need to worry so I always have peace of mind! My dog also doesn’t seem to mind going to her appointments which is a relief. In fact, she’s more settled in the waiting room than she is in most places! Thank you all. 😊

I cant thank animal trust st helens enough! My 10 month old kitten needed an amputation on her front leg due to a severe break of her shoulder joint we were refered from a private clinic. But the vet she seen at animal trust st helens didnt want to amputate, said she wanted to try and save my kittens leg and she did! Miracle workers.. And at all much lower cost than other vets. This place isnt about money its much more, they go above and beyond and genuinely care about these animals. I wont take my cats anywhere else now after seeing the care they gave my kitten. Im not local either i travel to them and they are worth their weight in gold! 100% recommend to anyone with pets. Most lovely, kind, caring people thank you again for saving my kittens leg!

Having been using animal trust for around 13 years at different locations Bolton , Ashton , and St helens, its not always been plain sailing , I have been let down at times and even down right lied to, accused of not paying bills , when I clearly had and quoted for treatment and then went to pay to find a much higher bill, its almost impossible to book an appointment by telephone they never answer the phone promptly I have waited upto thirty minutes. Emergancy out of hours tel is very hit and miss. But its not all bad I have had some positive experiences too and I rate St Helens branch well done to them.

Honestly this place makes me as happy as my pets ! On every encounter I have been greeted by such wonderful people - just like myself whom just love animals and making you feel supported and cared for - it really makes a massive difference to having a poorly pet(s). I saw the team once all arrive for work - you could see they all cared for each other as a unit. Shouldn’t have favourites as I’m sure they are all angels a but Olivia is a beautiful soul! And she make me (anxious Annie) feel so at ease! I already recommend and promote this place to everyone. Reviews really help, but this place speaks for itself!!! Ps. Get the plan ! X

Sadly 2 brothers cats of mine sadly died of different things last Monday. They was just over 20 years old. I cannot thank all the vets, vet nurses and the receptionist for all your kindness, compassion and I can honestly say this is the best vets I have ever been to. Thank you for putting the cats first in every decision. I will only use your vets from now on. Again you all showed calming environment in the most difficult time for myself. Would highly recommend this vets to anyone. X

I honestly can't fault this place, we moved here after our previous vet changed ownership and my dog was apparently needing lots of dental, without them ever looking in his mouth. After 4 lots in 18mths and paying for consultations without them even looking at my dog, I found Animal Trust. From arriving we were made to feel very welcome, after explaining what had been going on the vet looked in my dogs mouth and told us straight away what the problem was..... and straight away said don't worry, we won't be doing dental. My dog is old and I had been so worried in case he needed another. This vet diagnosed my dog with a condition that the other vets should've picked up on. He is now being treated with the right medication etc. Absolutely fantastic practice, we have joined the pet plan as its beneficial to our dog with needing regular meds. A complete breath of fresh air, to find a vets practice that is more about the animal care and not the money. Thank you.

Our Felix was very ill & they really tried to help him but they said he was slowly going & best thing was to let him go. The staff was very understanding & although hes gone we do really miss him so much. We hoping to get their ashes soon from them before christmas. Thankyou for your help.

“I had an excellent experience with Animal Trust when my dog Molly needed an operation. The team was caring, professional, and kept me informed every step of the way. The price was very fair, and the aftercare was outstanding—they really went above and beyond to make sure Molly recovered well. I’m truly grateful for the wonderful service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality veterinary care.” keep up the good work.

Amazing vets. They care so much and remember the animals. Also the transparent fees. I paid £1400 for an operation at a previous vets and have booked the same operation for my dog for £500. Olivia has been amazing and the reception staff also. Keep up the great work.

Excellent! I could not fault them in any way. The veterinary nurses and surgeons (Olivia and Mary to be specific) have been amazing. My dog Frank had BOAS surgery last week and cannot praise them enough for the care he has received. It’s very rare to find a vets that your dog loves to visit but also doesn’t break your bank account. 10/10 - highly recommend.
