Medivet - St Helens

The care there is excellent. ALL of the staff are extremely friendly and genuine towards both myself and my German shepherd, Floss. The only issue I have is that when renewing the policy, there was an administration charge of just over £20, which will now be a yearly thing. I believe they contact the insurance company via E mail, so I don't understand this yearly excess charge? Other than that, I would highly recommend Medivet to friends and family.

Excellent care and clear advice around future treatment plan from Andrei. Very efficient and friendly service from Louise at reception who was super busy juggling a number of tasks whilst supporting a trainee or new colleague Overall very impressed.

Very good service, the vet nurse came out to my car to collect my cat Molly. I couldn’t get her in the pet box so she was left in the vehicle for a few minutes, after the procedure they put Molly in the box for me to take home.

I have taken my dogs to Medivet for a good while now and I cannot praise them highly enough. All staff are very friendly and professional and always greet you with a smile. I recently had a traumatic experience…my beloved dog was so poorly he had to have end of life treatment at Medivet Alder. They tried everything possible to make him better but sadly nothing could save him. The support I received from the onset to the end was amazing both from St Helens and Alder Thank you so much.

Took my dog Lola to Medivet for a check-up yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier! The care was outstanding, and the updates they provided were phenomenal. I wouldn’t go anywhere else—highly recommend!

Could not recommend this practice enough! Everybody there is absolutely lovely but the ladies that host the puppy party in particular are amazing. I’ve been going with my dog Vinnie and he loves it, lots of training tips, opportunities to socialise and we were even given a goodie bag full of lots of great products! Friendly, caring veterinary practice based in St Helens town centre. I was previously with a different branch, but wasn’t happy with their service so transferred to here ☺️ The staff are more than happy to answer any questions or queries, and when my boy had his surgery today, the vet nurse went through everything I could expect. We see the vet Andre most of the time, he’s been extremely helpful especially with one of my dogs who has seizures. I have 9 dogs who all receive their care here, I would happily recommend this practice.

I have 5 cats and each cat have had medical problems now and again. All the vets and staff have treated my cats with care and understanding. I had 2 cats put to sleep due to serious illnesses and they were really helpful.

Fantastic team at Medivet St Helens! Our dog Lola recently had surgery to be spayed, and the care she received was excellent from start to finish. The team is always friendly, extremely helpful, and truly dedicated to the wellbeing of the animals they treat. We always feel confident leaving Lola in their hands. Highly recommend Medivet St Helens to anyone looking for compassionate, professional veterinary care.
