Took our dog for his routine vaccination, but prior to this our dog developed an issue. We where able to discuss this issue at the vaccination appointment and in no way felt rushed or that we where just there for his vaccination. The vet we saw was so patient and professional and listened and dealt with our issue. Nothing was too much trouble.

Always friendly, supportive and professional. Transferred my dog's care here from another practice, which had become harmful rather than helpful. Have only received excellent care. Their wellness plan is brilliant and affordable, the facilities clean and well maintained, and have never had to wait when booking an appointment either online or over the phone. They have a separate little cat waiting area in the main reception, and mats are available for pets with arthritis etc who would be uncomfortable on the cold floor, and the weighing scale is right there in the corner so you can weigh your pet yourself. I wouldn't trust any other vets to care for my beloved Coco now and highly recommend White Cross if you are looking for somewhere safe and reliable for your own pet.

Had our cat checked out after he had been missing for 5 weeks - the staff were wonderful, managing to fit us in with an early appointment despite how busy they were. they were very thorough checking him, without him ever being in discomfort and gave great advice on getting back to full health.

Bear was always so happy to be going to the vets 😂 I would recommend these vets to everybody! They really do look after you and treat your animals like their own

Always have a good experience at this surgery. Never see the same doctor or nurse twice, which is what is in the veterinary industry, but everyone I do see shows an amazing level of care, affection and knowledge. I always recommend this surgery to others.

We have been with White Cross Vets for 8 years, 1 year at West Derby and 7 years at St Helens. We have always had exceptional service from both branches. We can’t thank White Cross Vets enough for the incredible care and compassion they gave to our beautiful boy, Salem. We found out in February he sadly had cancer and we recently lost him flying over the rainbow bridge. A special thank you to Radka. There are no words big enough to express our gratitude. From the very beginning she was gentle, kind, and so loving with Salem. It was clear she genuinely cared about him, and her empathy and warmth brought us comfort during the most heartbreaking time. She treated him like he mattered, like he was more than just a pet and that meant everything to us. Losing Salem has left a huge hole in our hearts, but we will always remember the love and dignity he was given at the end. Thank you, Radka and everyone at White Cross Vets for being there for him and for us. We’ll never forget your kindness.
