NORTHPAW VETS is an excellent Independent family vets. They concentrate on the holistic approach and will never offer unnecessary tests or treatments unlike corporate boughtout vets. They believe in animal comes before profit and will always tailor a suitable treatment to a budget you can afford. My husband and I went along to their open day and were very impressed with their practice. I for one will definitely be giving them a go.

Visited for the first time today with a very anxious cat. Martin (the vet) was great; very knowledgeable, pragmatic and most importantly, great with my cat. I've never had such a relaxing and enjoyable visit to the vet!

I recently visited this independent veterinary practice and was extremely impressed with the level of care and service provided. From the moment I arrived, the team was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The staff took the time to answer all of my questions and made both myself and my dog feel comfortable throughout the visit. The vets Martin and Jenny were highly knowledgeable and professional, explaining everything clearly and demonstrating real care and compassion for my dog’s wellbeing. It was reassuring to feel that my dog was in such capable hands. Another aspect that stood out was the pricing. The fees were very reasonable and noticeably more affordable than several other practices I had contacted, without any compromise on the quality of care or service. The costs were transparent, and there were no unexpected charges. Overall, I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, and reasonably priced veterinary service. It’s refreshing to find an independent practice that combines excellent care with great value for money.

Thank you for showing so much compassion for my little ragdoll! I phoned up in the afternoon yesterday hoping for advice and maybe an appointment the following day with regards to a poorly cat. Was offered same day appointment and following a thorough consultation my cat Mittens was given medicine. Mittens is no longer throwing up and is drinking water and eating food. Thank you so much!

A real INDEPENDENT vet practice, at last!! Something we have been crying out for since Andrew retired from Dragon vets and sold up to Medivet. Had out first visit today. Be sure to put Morrisons into your sat nav to get to the right place. Don't follow the Google directions as you will end up at a different vets. Oops. Parking was plentiful and the surgery is just inside the entrance, can't miss it. The place is bright, clean and welcoming. We were saw promptly by Martin, one of the owners. He checked Nell over thoroughly and we discussed her general health. The appt was an introduction, and an opportunity for my dog to see her new vets. He checked her ears with a fancy tool that showed the inside of her ears on a screen. I was given expert advice on how best to keep them clean. We weren't hurried and the consultation was a great opportunity to ask questions. He explained that he and his wife wanted to set up a practice that wasn't beholden to shareholders and corporate greed. One that was focused on your pet, not spreadsheets. Which was music to my ears. I'd far rather put my money into a local company than some fat cats pocket that couldn't care less about my beloved pet. He assured me he will always seek to find the most economical way of providing medication. If I need a prescription, I can get one, one that would last the maximum time permitted. Not charging monthly which pushes costs up for us responsible pet owners. I am so pleased that this surgery has opened. If you are thinking of switching vets, this is the place for for you! 5* from me, and a big waggy tail from my dog. Hope we don't see you again soon, but I know if I do, my dog is in safe hands, and I won't need to remortgage for a course of antibiotics. Best of luck to the whole team at North Paw vets.
