Brilliant vet practice. Initially registered because of my rabbits, as there is an Exotic Advanced Practitioner here, but then transferred the dogs over also. Very caring practice, all staff brilliant, can not recommend them enough.

I can’t praise this vets enough.Id taken two buses to get to this vets & was very stressed over my turtle.I was welcomed at reception by a wonderful very friendly lady which put me at ease immediately.Ashleigh our vet was fantastic with me and My musk turtle Ohana. She gave great advice & reassurance & i feel relieved that after a week of meds Ohana will be fine. Also as an owner of two cats aged 14 I found the wall display in front of were I sat in the waiting room very informative as it was different signs to watch out for in cats .Ive been to a number of vets over the years & I have to say this is by far the best

This was the first time we used this vet, Our dog was very old and had be put to sleep. This was handle in most professional way and really supported us in a difficult time. First class service from start to finish. Thank you from both of us.

I couldn’t recommend them more. They have been amazing with all animals we have taken here. We have taken cats, chickens, a goose and ducks and they have helped them all. Our goose was put to sleep and they were great with her, kept her dignity in her last moments and sent us a sympathy card which was really lovely. I have an older cat who has been struggling lately and they really have treat her with so much love and respect, the whole team from vets, nurses and the receptionists are so lovely I couldn’t be more grateful to them, they have been so patient with us when we have had to make difficult decisions. I feel that some vets are money driven but this couldn’t be further from the truth about Wrights, they genuinely want what’s best for the animal. Special shout out to Mrs Charlton for recommending them to us 🥰

Changing to wright's vet's a few months ago was a great move. We get constant reminders for treatment, medication and appointments needed which is great. We can't thank Alan and all his lovely staff enough for their care and compassion of our old boy who has just had dental treatment last week. From the consultation right through to sign off today they have been fantastic. After surgery I received a call to say he was in recovery and was doing fine, everything had gone well so we didn't have to worry unnecessarily. They were very informative at pick up for his aftercare and explained everything they had done. They even rang the next morning to see how he was doing which we thought was a lovely touch. We can't recommend this practice enough, very caring staff and very reasonably priced

A lovely place. Took our little hamster in for her eye removed and they were so great, several follow ups and felt really that they cared. Edit- we had to take our little girl to the emergency vet and realised how clinical it was compared to Wrights. So sad she couldnt make her final journey here. Thank you.

Great vet, visited them a few times with my tortoise. Very knowledgeable and patient with me as a new tortoise owner. They helped treat my pet with a respiratory infection/pneumonia (all better now). I love that they offer husbandry advise. Very caring too.

Ive been with Wrights for around 5 years I just can’t fault them in any way at all. Ive been with most of the other vets in County Durham at some point over the past 25 years but I just love these guys. Consistently caring knowledgable and very hard working. Dogs , rabbits , hamsters and cats , I trust the vets , they just know their stuff and work really hard for all the animals. They give you the time , really listen and communicate properly , kind and patient with owners and pets . The best reception staff you could ever meet also incredibly kind helpful and patient. An amazing team , I’m so grateful to them for everything they’ve done for my pets . Honey , Bella , Puggles , Willow ,Lily , Herbie , Sherlock and Watson Maisey and Barney
