Strongly advice anyone to use a local vet rather than a franchise like these. All they care about is money

Honestly this place has literally gone down the pan. There overpriced and charge through the nose for things. But more importantly in regards to the financials I’ve had nothing but a bad service from them and they act like a debt collection agency. I think they forget that they’re a vets and the animals care should come first. A number of times they’ve messed up financially they’re end. But as they’re card reader wasn’t working all of a sudden were treated like we are dodging a payment and left a concerning voicemails quoting “it was pointless my dog coming in” for sample which were horrible for her to have done. We were with Altrincham for 14 years and never had service like this. It’s obviously independently owned. If you want a VET that isn’t just financially motivated and doesn’t use the brand to act professional I’d go down the road to Hartford. Really disappointed!

I rang Vets for Pets Northwich this morning as I was concerned about my little dogs eyes.. they were fully booked but showed kindness and concern and said to bring him to the practice in an hour.. Phil, the vet was wonderful. Professional and kind. He was very good with Pepi who is normally nervous with things like this.. Phil checked out Pepi’s eyes with a special fluid. Thankfully no appearance of cornea ulcers 🙏.. Phil gave us some drops for suspected conjunctivitis. Thank you for seeing our dog at such short notice. Always a friendly service at Vets for Pets Northwich. Xx

Our cat had stopped eating and we called into the vet to see if they would see our cat and they said bring him in straight away which we did and they gave him some drugs and booked him in for the next day and they looked at him again and had a look down his throat and did some blood tests too. Now he is feeling better and is now eating his food and alot more happy than what he was. The vet and the staff have been amazing and looked after him really well. Could not thank them enough. Even helped me sort out things with his insurance claim too.

My dog went in to be neutered was left in cage without collar so was able to lick and chew wound so ended up hemorrhaging. Taken back next day for emgency op with additional cost of £500 then dropped to £200 as a good will gesture as it was done in there care. Would not operate until fully paid I did not not expect this lack of care over a minor operation I wouldn't recommend this vets to anyone.
