I had to visit the PDSA with a cat I found that had been run over. The staff were brilliant, letting me go through the side door so people in the waiting room wouldn't see the cat that had died en route. They were kind and considerate and helped me find the owner of the cat shop I could tell them what had happened.

I brought my cat here for an operation. When I came to pick her up, I was told the procedure went well and that she had also been microchipped. However, my cat was already microchipped, after raising this with the staff, it turned out they had mixed up her details with another cat. As a result, my cat now has two microchips. The staff made light of the situation, joking that she’s double safe. I didn’t find this reassuring, it’s quite worrying that pet records could be confused like this.

Lovely front of house team and Jenna the vet was so friendly and helpful and really reassured me that everything was ok. Super easy consultation. I would possibly suggest a waiting area for people who are coming in to say goodbye to their pets, and this is the only reason not to give 5*. It's a horrible decision to make and a very personal one, and i know i wouldn't want to have a room full of strangers seeing me like that. Having lost a dog myself and being worried for my current dog, I not only felt guilty and sympathetic for the owners, but it's just not nice for anyone, including your reception team. The receptionists and vets are all so friendly and knowledgeable; the service I've received has been 5*

Although busy they was amazing and understanding and had my dog in on an emergency they gave him every chance but at 14yrs old he passed away. They handled it with kindness and care and didn't rush us. I cannot thank the PDSA enough for everything they done to help my dog over many years. They bought him an extra year with me I am so grateful 🙏 ❤️ 💙 💜
