Booked an appointment specifically for a check up and to order more medication, and was told after the checkup I had to come back (and pay for an additional appointment) because the nurse was not qualified to do the prescription. Very unfair and unprofessional.

We went to pick up Felpreva for our 14 week old kitten who is 1.45kg and we were given the medication for 'Medium Cats' 2.5kg - 5kg which could of given the kitten an overdose of the active ingredients within the medication. How are Vets, who are meant to be taking medical care of your pet, giving out the incorrect medication which could have serious consequences? This is serious negligence by the clinic who we trust to look after our pets. When raised, the staff member justified her action by telling us she was busy and new to the job which is unacceptable. We tried to raise a formal complaint and were told to call back on Monday when a manager was in. Why is there not a manager on site which we assume is one of the busier periods over the weekend? I wouldn't trust them to look after your pets given this scenario. Needless to say we will not be going back.

I just visited the veterinary clinic, and the staff were all very friendly. I can’t find anything to complain about. Thank you.

We took our 2 month old kittens to Grove Lodge Vets Brighton for their first round of vaccines/health check/nail clipping yesterday. Everyone, from the receptionist, to the nurses & vets, was kind, professional and very patient with our 1 million questions! It is very important for us to feel that our kittens are not only in a safe and professional practice, but one where they are treated with LOVE and CARE. We are very glad to have picked Grove Lodge Vets for our 2 little rascals!

I’ve just registered with Grove Lodge Vets and had such a positive experience. The receptionist was so lovely, patient, and incredibly helpful, and the vets were wonderful with my cat Chanel — gentle, reassuring, and very skilled at putting both her (and me!) at ease. Thank you for making everything feel so smooth and stress-free.

Really kind and helpful staff, I have moved around Brighton a fair bit but kept this vets for my cats as I've found the service and level of genuine care for animals absolutely brilliant. The reception team are particularly excellent and have been nothing but kind and compassionate during a recent tricky time. Have recommended to friends, who all have similar experiences.

Grove lodge isn't the closest vet practice to our home, their health club plan was always on my mind as something I'd like my dog to benefit from. After a fellow dog owner recommended. I've decided to swap a 3 min walk for a 10 min drive. I wasn't disappointed, the staff is lovely and caring, even though we cannot enter the building at this moment in time, they made it work with an outdoor exchange, before and during the appointment when I could point out my concerns and we agreed on the course of action. I'm so pleased.
