Welcome to Riverside Veterinary Group! This friendly and inviting veterinary practice is located in Canvey Island, Essex, England, and provides compassionate and dedicated care to pets and their owners.

Riverside Veterinary Group is open for appointments six days a week, from Monday to Saturday. On weekdays, the practice is open from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, and on Saturdays, from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm. The practice is closed on Sundays to allow our staff and veterinarians to rest and spend time with their own pets and families.

The practice operates across departments covering different species with three veterinary surgeons and four veterinary nurses. Departments include veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses, both with a depth of experience and qualifications required to handle the smallest to largest of pets and their ensuing health concerns.

Our veterinary surgeons, Dr Calum MacLean, Dr Mark Phillips, and Dr Marta Rokicka, are all highly qualified and dedicated professionals, with a wealth of experience in treating a variety of animals. Dr Calum MacLean is the Principal Veterinarian and takes charge of ensuring the highest standards of care are met within the practice. Our veterinary nurses; Miss Jade Ackroyd, Miss Gemma Fielden, Mrs Nina Maclean, and Mrs Kimberly Ricketts, provide excellent nursing care and assistance to our veterinarians.

The practice is well-equipped with modern and essential facilities to provide essential health equipment necessary for treating pets. Among these facilities include a client car park, open at weekends and disabled public access, ensuring the practice can be accessible to all.

The practice cares for a variety of species, including birds, cats, dogs, exotic animals, wild animals, and small mammals. With each species, the veterinary team takes a unique approach to their care and treatment, aiming to provide personalised care to each pet based on their individual needs.
