Mark is one of the loveliest vet nurses I have ever come across. He is super thorough and extremely informative. I turned up an hour early by mistake and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend R&P VP.

You can tell the vets really care for the animals. The reception team at Ashington are so much better than those at Morpeth. Morpeth has one lovely receptionist but the rest treat you like you're an inconvenience. Now I always try to get appointments at Ashington.

I visited the vets today with my lil one after calling a few others. I have had experience with Robson and Prescott with my horses so I was expecting a relatively similar experience with my hamster. I had a few disclosed to me via phone before making the appointment then told I would find out the rest at the appointment (to which other vets did just disclose an average price of £50. I had my little one euthanised and was then hit with a bill of £100 (at that point what are you meant to say). In vulnerable positions as all pet owners are when visiting the vets with their loved pets, I believe full cost of fees should be prior explained before the treatment. The service I received was good despite this. The vet was extremely empathetic, knowledgable and caring towards my fur baby. I just believe if other vets can provide a service with transparency of fees, why can the same not be done here, because the website contradicts my overall service today. Never in a million years did I expect the fee to be £100. It never has been in my previous experiences.
