Always so good with the cats, they even have a cats only clinic now. Very patient and kind. All members of staff are lovely and they were so supportive when we were trying to get out pets weight down. Highly recommend.

A Caring and Professional Team at Rowe Vets – Yate I’ve had consistently positive experiences with Rowe Vets in Yate. The veterinary team is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely committed to animal welfare. Whether it’s a routine check-up or an emergency, they’ve always treated my pets with kindness and care. You can tell they love what they do. The practice is well-organized, and appointments run smoothly. I’ve appreciated how clearly the vets explain treatment options and next steps—it’s reassuring to feel informed and involved. The reception staff are generally helpful and polite, and the environment is clean and welcoming. While costs can be on the higher side, I’ve found the quality of care justifies it. It’s worth it to know your pet is in safe hands. I’d recommend Rowe Yate to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and caring veterinary service.

Vets are lovely, receptionists are too. Shocking how it’s run. My dog has been very poorly for over a month now, he’s had a bad tummy and lost lots of weight in a short space of time. Paid over £200 to have stool samples tested. I called in to the practice to weight my dog on Tuesday, just to use the scales. I asked if the results from the samples were in and I was told yes, someone would call. Wednesday afternoon still no call so I called back, eager to know the results and get him on some medication to make him better! I was told that only the vet who saw me could give me the results, that she wasn’t in until Friday, and they’d leave her a message. All other vets were in clinics and I’d have to wait. Friday came, I left it until 4pm, no call. Chased up vets and all they said was they’d leave her another message to call and go through results. I’m surprised and saddened that if only a certain vet is allowed to give the results, why is time not allocated out of clinics to call and update us . At the end of the day, we have a poorly dog, who we are very concerned about, who we want better. The results came in 5 days ago (Saturday now!) and no one has called us or been available to let us know what’s wrong. If the sample is clear we have been told we need blood tests. Is 5 days of doing nothing not overkill when we could be getting on with getting him better? Let alone the fact that we have paid over £350 and we currently have nothing in return for this cost.i was Told by the vet that it would cost £100 for samples, when I dropped them back in after collecting them for three days, I was told it was £220 to send them off. Leaving me in a very awkward position at the counter with two young children and other people watching. Feel like no one cares about him or us.

Probably the best Vets i have ever used, i wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. The staff are lovely they go above and beyond for any pets. One of our dogs is a bit challenging however Rowe are always happy to see him and go out of their way to help us.

Being our first visit to this vets both myself and Teddie were a tad anxious. However there was no issues at all. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The seating area has been well thought out and everything was well organised. Teddies first trip to the vets was very pleasant making it easier for our next trip. He was totally relaxed 8n the car going home.
