Were really good with my dog, (that hates vets) after she had been bitten. Emailed pictures of the wound and was asked to bring her in. Gave her antibiotics and pain meds.

**AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! People deserve to know how terribly we were failed. ** Our beautiful, gentle boy was misdiagnosed with “kennel cough” because the vet (the owner of this practice) was too scared to even go near him. She stood two metres away from him in the car park, and immediately declared: “that is kennel cough.” No examination. No checks. Nothing. She then sent us home with nearly £200 worth of medication. A week later, with no improvement at all, we collected even more medication. Once again, nobody assessed him, nobody asked a single question about how he was doing. Another week passed. Still no change. We phoned the practice, and the promised call-back never happened. We phoned AGAIN, and the receptionist told us the vet said: if his appetite drops, take him to the emergency vets. It felt like a brush-off, especially as the practice was closing in 30 minutes. We were feeling dismissed. Nearly four weeks after the original visit, Lockie deteriorated so badly that we booked him in again. This time, the moment she saw him, she said: “That’s not kennel cough. Something sinister is going on.” Suddenly, after weeks of telling us he had kennel cough, she told us he was “end of life” and recommended putting him to sleep - on the spot. We asked for blood tests or any kind of investigation. She dismissed us and said, “It will all result in the same - end of life.” Again, she didn’t come close to him. Not even within a metre. No examination. No compassion. No urgency to understand how he had declined so drastically. Heartbroken and confused, we took our boy home for one final night… but something didn’t sit right. We couldn’t end his life without knowing what was actually wrong. We went straight to EasiPetCare in Kettering - who were brilliant - a completely different experience. Lockie was allowed in the waiting area (not left in the car park) and was assessed thoroughly like he should've been four weeks ago. Within that single, proper assessment, they told us that Lockie had cancer. A tumour in his throat. NOT kennel cough. We had spent four weeks treating our boy for an illness he did not have. Four weeks where he was denied walks and denied the correct care because of a careless, rushed misdiagnosis. Four weeks of unnecessary suffering. This level of care is unacceptable. Please, for the wellbeing of your pets, avoid this place at all costs. No animal deserves to be misdiagnosed and left to deteriorate because a vet refuses to properly examine them.

After phoning And discussing the procedure for end of life for my Elderly border terrier . We attended the appointment With heavy heart . After arriving for the appointment, we were asked to wait in the car 20 minutes after our appointment time had been and gone they contacted me saying where was I? As they were waiting for me? I’d already booked in and paid. I was told To make my way upstairs and then I was kept waiting yet again, my poor dog was getting extremely stressed. The receptionist and the vet were extremely stressed and unorganised . We received nothing but mistakes from the receptionist team plus Not referring to one another about the notes on the screen . Their attitude was far from less sympathetic . Empathy was not even on the agenda . Mistake after mistake From the moment I walked in to day I collected his ashes . After receiving a very garbled message, they were ready for collection . I like to point out the message was so garbled I had to actually phone and decipher with her. Are you telling me that my dogs ashes are ready for collection? As a message read from beginning this is ,,,,,,,, receptionist name . from Russia “ And it continued on ,,,,,, They asked if I would like a paw print of my beloved dog which I agreed , the package that I received contained five scrappy pieces of paper with his paw print and a humans thumbprint smudged in the corner Of this Keepsake memory !!!!! Plus An out of date packet of garden seeds For us to sow to remember him ! And a small bottle of my dogs fur . His collar and tag have never been returned ! The whole affair was horrendous Asking to see the vet and speak to them I was declined on several times saying that they were busy. I said I would happily wait because I think it needs to be discussed about the points. They tried then to charge me for an appointment to discuss further ! Absolutely shocking . I explained to the receptionist I am not prepared to pay to complain . I’ve never received any correspondence either by phone email or in person by this practice . Appalling service I have now booked into another Veterinary practice With my other border terrier. I asked what the procedures were as vets for pets have all her notes . They said they would contact Vets for pet pets To get them email over . Vets for pets denied having anybody on their books in my name and didn’t know my two dogs Which they have cared for for many years !!!! Once again vets for pets have made more mistakes . I called Vets for pets Immediately enquiring what an earth is going on you have dealt with my dogs for many years surely you must have notes on them. The receptionist thought this was quite humorous and asked which notes do I need naming both dogs? This is not acceptable surely they would’ve put on the notes of the deceased Dog. . I had to remind them they had only put him to sleep A few weeks beforehand . She was far from sympathetic and put the phone down laughing . They contacted the new Vets And also gave them my hard time, so I was told by my new Vets … I hope people who read this really think about using this company. They have never made any effort to contact me and discuss shocking service. Plus, at the time of my dog being put to sleep the vet said I was overcharged. I have never received any refund whatsoever. Did I do the right thing for the dog? Yes I did ! But I chose the wrong people to do it . my mistake it was a shocking experience My other border terrier is now missing her buddy a great deal as she was not allowed to be there with him or see him afterwards . We asked the vets if we could bring our other border terrier along that day the answer was a firm “No “ from the vet . What dreadful service for my little dog He didn’t deserve this .

Easily found upstairs in pets at home. Stairs and lift to get upstairs. There's a groom room up there for doggos to get a pamper. Ringing to get an appointment isn't easy, often they don't answer the phone. Service was good, although every time I visit I'm never seen on time, this visit I was seen 37 minutes after my appointment time. Do also check the pricing and ask for an invoice, they tried to charge me for treatment I'd never had. Luckily I'd asked the price before visiting so I knew it was wrong. It could be a really good establishment, they just need to be better at customer service and attention to detail.
