Love this vets. Staff are always so lovely and helpful, and always make sure to give my girl a fuss. They’re brilliant with her, and myself being a first time dog mum. I cannot thank them enough.

I booked a straightforward rabies vaccination for my dog, but shortly after, they called me back and told me she was considered “high risk” because she had previously been in the US. They then said I would need to pay over £100 for additional testing before they would treat her. My dog has travelled extensively between countries over the past two years since returning from the US, has met all airline and UK government entry requirements, and has been seen and treated by multiple vets without any concerns being raised. It is an opportunistic money grab rather than an attempt to provide appropriate care. I have used St. James for almost 7 years (since she was a pup) and paid for their monthly membership for most of this time, but I will no longer use them.

I would like to bring to your attention the fantastic vet who has been caring for Tillie, Chiara. She has seen Tillie several times over the past few months and has been absolutely wonderful. Her professionalism, knowledge, and genuinely caring and loving nature are truly exceptional. She always takes the time to explain things clearly and treats both pets and owners with such compassion and respect. When Tillie was referred to Bristol Vets, we even received a follow-up phone call from Chiara to check how Tillie was getting on, which meant so much to us. That level of care and dedication truly goes above and beyond. Tillie absolutely loves her too, which says everything about the trust and comfort Chiara gives to the animals she treats. She is a real credit to your veterinary practice, and I felt it was important to let you know how grateful we are for the care she has provided.

Fantastic experience. Get along with the vets here really well and Fleur and Tom were so helpful with my Vietnamese mossy frogs. Expensive but worth it. Thanks!
