Won't be returning to this vets .. not impressed. Was with the vet for only just over 5 mins, maximum 10 mins, during which time the vet didn't even check my dog over .. eyes, ears, skin/coat etc, which i know in my experience, is normally part of a consultation. 28 tablets prescribed for severe itching/ skin condition, costing an extortionate price of £227.39. Not sure what the actual consultation fee is, but whatever it is, it simply wasn't worth it. The receptionist however, was lovely. Pleasant and very helpful

I took my father's senior cat into the Veterinary Clinic in January 2025 because he had a chronic skin problem. An appointment was booked for later that day. After a short wait (due to the vet operating on another pet) I explained the symptoms & the cat was examined. Immediately, the vet identified the issue & explained how it could be remedied. Within 2 weeks we could see a marked improvement & I continued to administer the medication for a further 2 months. The cat now looks great & is in good health again. I would highly recommend the Veterinary Clinic. The staff are friendly, professional & clearly have the expertise, which is very much needed especially when a pet is ill. A well-deserved 5 stars. Thank you✨️

I can not thank all the staff at the vets. They took great care of my dog, who had to go in for dental cleaning and the removal of two of his teeth. They explained everything to me what to expect after as lm a great worrier when it comes to my best buddy. So THANKYOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR UNDERSTANDING.

My dodgy had two lumps that needed removing. The pre, post surgery was excellent. Explained everything, went through options, were clear on costs and aftercare needed. All appointments were pre booked and compassion was given for this worried dog mom. Thanks to all at Great Barr surgery.

We have had really good experiences recently with this vet. Especially our last 2 visits. Receptionist/nurses were friendly. But moreover the vet we saw (her name begins with an A, I am so sorry sorry I cannot remember more) was incredible. Takes her time, does a full review. Explains everything. Engaged my 9 year old son with the process. Makes you and the pet feel at ease. I rescued a cat at 3 weeks old and she has today at 5.15 given her her first vaccines as she is now 8 weeks old, we think. The vet was so friendly, I couldn’t ask for me. I wish they were all like her. A lovely person all round. You’ve got a good one there and I hope you retain her. Please pass this compliment on.
