Brought my Lhasa Apso for the first time to the Forfar branch last week. A check up before booking an appointment for dental care. The reception staff (and dog!) were really friendly and welcoming. Nice spacious and airy reception area. Was taken for our appointment on time by vet Georgiana. She was very caring and gentle with Julius (my dog) and advised us on treatment needed. A further appointment was made for the dental work and it's a worry less to know he'll be in good hands.

Took our dog in as he hurt his paw/leg. The receptionists (Sophie and Tessa) are the best! So kind and helpful and the vets were all lovely too! Would highly recommend taking your pet to Thrums!

Fiona is an excellent vet and was very good with my slightly nervous cat. Carried out a good check on his problem, good advice etc as usual. She has looked after several of my cats and I have great confidence in Fiona and Thrums Forfar. Receptionists are really good too, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, a credit to the practice. And I get a sweetie if I have been good! Marie Pudlewska xx

This was my first visit after changing practices. So far, I’m glad I did. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and forgiving of the noise my two wee Cavvies can cause between them when excited!! The vet, Maya, was so very lovely and thorough and we felt that she had time for us and our pooches. Their “shop” in the reception was also very well stocked. The staff in Kirriemuir were also really knowledgeable and helpful when we popped in there to register a couple of weeks ago.

Fiona was patient, helpful and friendly while checking Suli post teeth clean and removal. She reviewed blood work results at my request and we discussed a treatment plan.

Our cat Kasper had problems with his left eye; he kept it closed. Veterinarian Katrin Lewis examined Kasper very carefully and gave him eye drops. Thankfully, it wasn't too serious, and Kasper is now feeling better. Thank you so much for the quick and professional help. Robert Hoerling

Both Forfar and Kirriemuir have been absolutely fantastic with my dogs, when we sadly had to have one of them put to sleep they were amazing with him and with my whole family we can’t thank them enough they let us stay with him for as long as we wanted and took paw prints and nose prints for us we are so grateful, then only a few days later our puppy cut his foot open and they were so amazing with him and us helping us every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure he was looked after properly and not in pain, for weeks we had to go back and forth and not once was it ever any trouble for them, thank you so much you guys are all outstanding and we wouldn’t go anywhere else with our boys the love and trust and relationships they build with us is so strong thank you all.
