Excellent vet surgery, very knowledgeable and empathetic staff. My daft young dog had his epilepsy diagnosed and treated here and has had many other little incidents over the last 3.5 years , he has been treated wonderfully each time. He adores the staff and gets excited to see them! I took my time and did a lot of research before finding an independent vet surgery, after major problems with the big chain vets at Pets At Home which caused major pain and suffering to our little Siamese cat . We have been very happy with the care our dog has received and with the way we have been treated with care and kindness when our crazy dramatic spaniel has got himself into another scrape . Would not consider using another vet, if we moved away we would probably travel back to continue using Town Vets.

My advice is if you have a pet that needs medication don"t take more than a few days at a time. My dog was diagnosed with cancer and instead of telling me straight that there was no hope, they 'gave ' me 15 days worth of tablets at nearly £200. In the UK, once stock has been dispensed, it can not be accepted back into the pratice due to potential problems with storage conditions which are beyond the veterinarian’s control. I would not recommend this vets, as I feel they are just interested in money. If they had been clear with the prognosis I would not have bought any tablets. Even if they had thought he could have lived a little longer, they could have offered 3 days of drugs and I could have returned for more if required, then I might have had a better opinion of them. As it was, I think they took advantage of the situation, with the shock of a cancer diagnosis and just wanted to get as much money as possible .

Awful practice. Would not recommended to anyone. All they care about is money rather than the welfare of your pet. Would not trust a single word they say. The vets have no bed side manner. They don’t make you feel at ease or explain anything. Every time I took my pet for treatment he would get taken off me and took to the back room. They used terms like “going to stab him now” Would never step foot into the practice again.

Our Dog Denzel had a lump removed on his leg and also a few teeth out today. From the start we couldn’t fault the service, we felt extremely reassured at all times. All staff members loved Denzel as soon as he walked in! We knew straight away he would be in great loving care! Thankyou so much for looking after our gorgeous boy x

Kristy and her team are absolutely amazing. I can’t thank her enough following an emergency with our Dog Wilbur who collapsed after a hypoglycemic episode. She’s so kind and caring. Taking time to call the next day to see how he was feeling. She has also been absolutely brilliant with my cat Jess. If you’re looking for a good vet look no further. I’ve had 40 years experience of being a pet owner and she’s the best vet I’ve ever known.

I was recommended Town vets by a family friend and im so pleased I changed. The vet was so lovely and honest about my dogs needs (diet mainly due to continued water infections) I can honestly say it's the best decision I have made. The veterinary nurses are fab and keep me on my toes with regular weigh ins and treatment plans. Thank you Town vets, I no longer dread our visits
