I've been a client for years now and even though I've moved further away, I've remained with Trefaldwyn Vets for both large and small animals due to the brilliant service they provide. Over the years they've provided care for my sheepdogs, a litter of pups, and a small flock of sheep who have had some pretty dire emergencies - the latest of which was an impromptu c-section on the back door of my pickup by Oli, on a hillside, in a gale. Not all heroes wear capes - any animal is in great hands with Trefaldwyn Vets, their level of care and dedication towards animals (and their owners!) is unrivalled.

We moved here two years ago and within 8 days had a medical emergency on a Sunday with our beloved little Busta … Sue picked up our distraught call and she and the team here are the most caring helpful people I have ever come across in a vets practice … Sue has cared for our two elderly furbabies and a peacock with such kindness, Busta actually loved going to the vets after years of having to be muzzled … we have had to say goodbye to them Both recently … the kindness and compassion shown by Sue and the team made an heartbreaking time so much more bearable… and for that we will be eternally grateful. I can’t speak highly enough of them .

Thank you on behalf of my ferrets for a wonderful appointment yesterday. You took the time to talk to me, Jeff, as always, professionally implanted Supleronin implant for my ferrets. You have wonderful big hearts and I am very glad that despite the considerable distance from my place of residence, fate once led me to your practice ❤ 🐾❗ Thank you, my dears, for your hard work ❤

Sue has done an incredible job on my elderly cat (15 years old), this surgery was particularly delicate because my cat has an handicap but I can say , sue knows her job ! she explained the risks, we were prepared, we had all the informations we needed, very professional. Souka is living her retirement life better now ! Thank-you Geoff as well for all your work and help !

Fabulous vet practice. Both my dogs have received excellent care at Trefaldwyn vet but Barney has been especially well looked after. Last year, Sarah quickly researched and found somewhere to refer him to for emergency spinal surgery. She took care to find an animal hospital with a good reputation and reasonable price. Earlier this year Sue and most of the staff looked after him so well as he recovered from bladder stone surgery, a nasty infection and testing for an especially concerning disease while I was away for three weeks. Sue kept me well informed of how he was doing during that time. The staff celebrated with me and Barney when the test came back negative. I feel as if they truly care for my pets (and me) - Barney gets a very warm greeting when he goes into the clinic! Thank you to all the staff at Trefaldwyn vets

Go somewhere else if you want your beloved pet to be in good hands! Came here twice recently and both of the nurses we met just did not 'click' with my dog, and she wasn't too fussed with them either which is unusual for her. My dog needed dental work and despite it saying something on their website regarding working out a special price for certain work rather than a full on scale and polish the vet was disinterested. They were also disinterested in contacting the dogs trust to help me pay, they ignored my emails and their telephone line is bad. They just want to do the least amount of work for the most amount of money, replying to an email and filling out a dogs trust form was just too much effort. So, we found a new vet, and the difference is night and day, my dog has fallen in love with everyone she has met there, nothing is too much trouble for them, and even their vet care plan is more rewarding. And now, after a year absent from work due to a mental breakdown I have started work again, my dog will have everything she will ever want or need from her new vets. My advice is to shop around, your family depends on you, if something seems off, it probably is, there are far nicer, less run down practices out there
