My usual vet who I had been with for years would not see my dog for a week who was unwell and in pain. Uxbridge vet answered the phone immediately and gave me an emergency app the same day Staff and vet were all friendly and professional. My dog was seen, treated and everything was clearly explained. I was seen on time and the app was not rushed in any way, the vet took his time examining my dog and asking all about him. My experience today was very positive and I would highly recommend this practise

Such a lovely, helpful, patient, informative and caring Vet practice and team. From the practitioners to the front of house team. Great for first time pet owners, we were quite apprehensive, but the team has been amazing with us and our two beautiful cats!

I took my cat, Bentley, to Uxbridge Vets from when he was a kitten, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care he received there. Over the years, many of the team came to know him, we saw regular faces and that continuity and familiarity made a huge difference, especially as his health became more complex. From the outset, the team were consistently compassionate, attentive, and professional. Notes were always clearly passed between staff during handovers, so I never felt like I had to repeat myself or that anything was missed. While they don’t operate the out-of-hours service themselves, I did have to take Bentley elsewhere over a weekend. What really stood out was that when the team returned on Monday and saw this, they called me the same day to understand what had happened and to check if there was anything further they could do. That level of proactive care and follow-up meant a great deal. They were always gentle and kind with Bentley, and their approach was well balanced offering thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. They managed expectations clearly, communicated timelines well, and were proactive in seeking additional opinions where needed, which gave me a great deal of confidence in their care. When it became clear that Bentley wouldn’t make it, the team showed such genuine compassion. You could see they were heartbroken for him and for me, which meant more than I can express. When the time came to say goodbye, they handled everything with dignity, sensitivity, and care...not just for him, but for me as well. I would wholeheartedly recommend Uxbridge Vets to any pet owner looking for a practice that combines clinical competence with genuine care, empathy, and humanity.

Well what can I say today I called up the vets and spoke to Kay on reception after my little Maltese was attacked yesterday & ran half a marathon to escape. The service of booking her in instantly for an emergency appointment by Kay and the superb attention to detail of vet Alister was amazing. Could not recommend this vets more !

Thank you all of you the support and help today. My little girl autistic and her favourite nurse who she like to see all the time ,he came out and talk to us while and make her day. Not many places understanding how special need kids like to be treated and Uxbridge vet so supportive. I we are happy to go there . Atmosphere and the care they provide is excellent 👌.

Been a loyal customer for over ten years and always had 3-5 dogs. Took my cocker spaniel because of a swelling under the eye. They suspected an abscess behind one of her molar teeth and quoted me over £1200 to x-ray and remove the tooth and abscess and clean her other teeth. When I picked her up they said they couldn’t find anything and still charged me the full amount for teeth cleaning and 3 x-rays. My dog was not insured because of her age and what problems she’s has. Two weeks later she was worse than ever with a swollen face and eye looking infected so took her back to see a different vet and told they will ring me next day. No phone call. So booked with another veterinary practice I then rung them and they had completely forgotten about it. She’s now having another operation to remove the tooth and abscess that they missed. Absolutely disgusting service which I will be seeking legal advice on .

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the entire team at Uxbridge Vets for the outstanding care, compassion and support they gave to me and my beloved Bella during an incredibly painful and heartbreaking time. From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff treated Bella with genuine love, patience and dignity. They were gentle with her, reassuring with me, and made sure we both felt cared for in every possible way. Even in the most stressful and emotional moment, they spoke to us with kindness, explained everything clearly and never made me feel rushed or alone. Although my beautiful Bella sadly passed away, I know in my heart that the team at Uxbridge Vets did absolutely everything they could for her. They acted quickly, worked with real dedication and gave her the best chance possible. Their compassion in her final moments meant more to me than words can express. They made sure Bella was comfortable, peaceful and treated with so much respect right until the very end. Losing Bella has broken my heart, but I take comfort in knowing that she was surrounded by people who truly cared. The empathy, professionalism and humanity shown by the staff helped make an unbearable situation just a little easier, and I will never forget their support. To everyone at Uxbridge Vets, thank you. Thank you for your kindness, thank you for your tireless work and thank you for being there for Bella when she needed it most. Your dedication and compassion make a world of difference, and I am forever grateful for the way you cared for her. Bella was everything to me, and you gave her the dignity and love she deserved. I will always appreciate that... 🙏

I have had the best help and advice from Uxbridge Vets. I registered my 2, 5month old, kittens and they have both had health problems within the first year of having them. All the vets I have seen have been very caring, answering all questions asked and giving excellent advice. They make sure the vet with the most knowledge of a condition or pet, is consulted or sees the pet during the appointment. They've supported me through the tough times too. I will continue to use them.
