Charged me over £100 for a check up & eye drops for my cat that cost £4.99 on Amazon. Morally reprehensible behaviour that makes me seriously question the motives of this business.

Ok- so the good, the bad and the annoying. The good; absolutely first rate vet care from NT, Kyle and the nursing staff. Clear sensible treatment options are proposed that always put my dog's health first but are mindful of my budget; so they try different options to treat my dogs before sending me to the hospital for the expensive tests. If I need more tests it is explained clearly to me so I am never surprised and I have the choice to do them or not. They are an absolute dream team handling my demon dog who hates vets and never make me feel bad about my idiot dog basically trying to kill them, which makes the whole visit less stressful for me and her. They fuss and look after both my angel dog and demon dog, which I am very grateful for, so animal care and wellbeing is at the forefront of the staff approach. The bad: I have to say the phone system to book appointments or get updates is frustrating to say the least. Also just hang up if you get the call centre, there is no redemption, it's just not worth the stress. The annoying: The tech in the Uxbridge branch is just laughably poor, it's like the 80's called and wants its dial-up back. So do be prepared to add an extra 10 mins (at least) onto your appointment for them to get the card machine working and the calendar up and running to book your next appointment etc etc. Not the staffs fault at all but how tech can be that poor in London is beyond me. In summary great care, terrible admin. P.S. Has decent parking

My cat has been registered with this practice for over 13 years and even though I have had mixed experiences in the past, the current vet she is seeing, Dr Nayantara Ghotge (also known as NT), is absolutely marvelous. She is very attentive, knowledgeable and truly cares about the animal's wellbeing. My cat had a serious overgrooming issue for years and with Dr Ghotge's unrelentless search for the underlying cause, my cat is now no longer "half naked", more full of life and happier than ever.

Goddard is the vet I use for my cat. They are very friendly and helpful here Recently I was given an injured squirrel, which I had to take to Goddards to see if she could be saved. Sadly she couldn't, however, they treated the creature kindly and humanely. I offered to pay for their services, but they wouldn't take anything and refused a donation. No vets are cheap, but I feel happy that mine has a heart.

My Gecko was stuck in a rock. I rang numerous local vets to get help…but “because he’s a lizard”- I had to “see a specialist”. The specialist wanted £150 just to walk in… then £60 for anaesthetic….then to pay for whatever the treatment is. Goddard Vets Uxbridge gave me an appointment straight away. They managed to get him free in minutes, popped him out like a cork and they didn’t even charge me for it. I honestly can’t recommend them enough- thankyou 😄
