Vets for Pets - Trafford Park

UPDATE!! Even though from time to time mishaps and delays occur. What I do really appreciate the most, in regards to the complaints process in general, is the feedback and more importantly the follow-up. I returned to the practice the following back, as my boy still needed his meds. I do appreciate that, after I came out of the consultation with the vet, Ella was waiting at the front desk, to basically apologise in person (which is always a nice personal and professional touch) and what follow-up processes, the practice as done to hopefully prevent any reoccurrence and learn from this. Thanks Ella 6 years I've been with this practice and its getting worse and worse. Another appointment that was over 30mins late, to the point I had to leave and make another appointment has my dog needs his medication. What's worse is, having waited over 30mins past your appointment time, you have to find out yourselves whether they are behind, no courtesy on informing you when you check in. Also very annoying when other people, who have the same appointment time as you, who check in after you, are seen first. Will be looking for a new more professional practice than this one. Pretty poor service indeed

First class treatment for my Cockerpoo. From the vet, to the nurses to the practice manager. Excellent service and they were extremely helpful getting me a preauthorisation for his treatment which then accelerated the insurance claim. All done and dusted and back in my account in a week. Couldn't ask for better service.

Registered our kitten here and got the care plan was pleasantly surprised to be refunded money from the deposit as part of the plan. It’s is definitely worth it as it includes everything you could need for a new pet. We had an appointment on Halloween and staff were absolutely amazing and made both our children a big bag of sweets to start off their Halloween night it was so lovely of them 😊

Could not recommend the team highly enough. My cat was seriously ill when she came in to them and they did everything possible to help and take care of her. She needed x-rays, blood tests and several courses of treatment but each one was explained fully and clearly so I knew what was being done and what risks were involved. They even dealt direct with my pet insurance to process everything for me which was great.

Paid £230 for blood test to have the results in 24 hours. 5 days later - numerous unanswered phone calls and still no results. I’ll have to go back in person. Do not take your pet to this outfit. I’ll be changing vets this week.

All other staff spoke to me correctly and respectfully but not Paula the receptionist. They Was blunt on the phone and wasted 3 + hours of my time. I’ve never ever complained about a service in my life but her attitude absolutely stinks and something needs to get mentioned about it. Temporarily resolved a situation. At the worst time of the year days before Christmas

This vets was great. What's happened? The last time I took my dog the receptionist was engaged in conversation with a couple of people and ignored me. I had to chip in otherwise my dog would've missed her appointment. I weighed her, told the receptionist my dog's weight. She carried on talking to people then asked me to repeat what i'd just said. Yesterday I phoned to ask if my dogs treatments were still available and if her appointment was still ok for the next day (today). First receptionist put me on hold before I could even say anything. I put the phone down and phoned again. A different receptionist answered and dealt with my query. I was told everything was ok and treatments available just to get 2 calls today. One to make my dogs appointment later and another to rearrange. I understand things happen but my dog has a lump on her bum which needs checking out not just her regular worming tablets etc. Shame the service isn't the same. Not good.
