The vets at this practice are incredible. In particular, Emma Harris. I was really worried when I saw my dog had blood in his urine but Emma talked me through all the possibilities and really kept me calm. I couldn’t believe how quick and efficient the testing process was too and thankfully my mind was put at ease quickly. Graham on reception was super helpful too! I couldn’t recommend this practice enough ❤️

If I could give 0 stars I would. Please do not trust this vets to care for your animals. I brought Frank in as an emergency Friday, shortness of breath, coughing all night, being sick, resting chest rise count of 48, having to hold him upright to stop the coughing, when we got there his symptons had calmed down (i had given his heart medication 2hrs earlier than normal). The vet who supposedly done an ultrasound had came back out and said the scan showed no signs of heart failure, no fluid around his heart, it was the same as the one done in December (bearing in mind the one done in December was done by someone they get on site to do, so I don't know what the difference is) he also made a joke where he thought he had fluid until he realised it was his bladder. He sent us on our way with a follow up appointment a week later with no additional medication and only advise was to instead of giving his Libeo twice a day spread it out 3xtimes a day. With no advise what to do if symptons were to happen again. The following day I took Frank to the emergency vets, same symptons shallow breathing, coughing, the emergency vets put him on oxygen and his condition deteriorated rapidly, they scanned him to find out he had blood and fluid around his heart (previous vet visit at Salford companion care assured us there wasn't, even though symptons were the same minus being sick). I asked the vet at the emergency how they missed this and she said she didn't know. The prognosis for Frank at this point was dire 0% oxygen, if they were to drain it she expected it could be minutes or hours before build up again. My boy had been suffering and we believed the vet at companion care when he said he was ok and his condition hadn't changed. The only choice at this point was to Pts my boy, I am beyond devastated. I would never trust this vets to care for an animal again.

This is for the reception staffs snd the vet - Manasa who have helped us tonight. There was a delay at first due to a pet being put to sleep, however the staffs made sure they informed us of the situation and even offered us drinks while we waited. This is already beyond being “proactive”. The vet - Manasa, she is the best vet we have ever seen in the UK. Very knowledgeable, quick in diagnosis, keep us well informed with the situation and reminded us on the medication. We were well advised and Manasa have gone above and beyond with our situation. If management is seeing this, the receptionist and the vet truly deserve shoutouts.
