Would just like to thank Cinque Ports Vets Kingsnorth, I arrived with a rabbit (wild) that appeared to have a broken neck? but was still very much alive and suffering.. the rabbit was quickly assesed and humanely put to sleep, special thankyou to the veterinary nurse who intervened before I`d even entered the building and minimised the animals suffering.. Thanks Again.

Over the past year I’ve unfortunately had a series of frustrating experiences with Cinque Port Vets in Kingsnorth. I want to be fair, because the staff I’ve interacted with have generally been polite and clearly care about the animals they treat. However, the overall organisation and communication from the practice has made what should be straightforward visits far more difficult than they need to be. One of the biggest issues has been the online booking system. On more than one occasion I’ve booked an appointment online only to later be told that the appointment didn’t exist in their system. This defeats the purpose of having an online booking tool and ends up forcing you to call or go into the practice anyway, which is frustrating when you’ve already tried to do things the proper way and are generally busy. I’ve also had an appointment for my pet’s annual vaccinations where I arrived on time, only to be told that the practice had run out of vaccines. That was particularly disappointing, as it meant taking time out of a busy day for something that couldn’t even be completed. Situations like that suggest there may be room for improvement in stock management and appointment planning. Another recurring issue has been waiting times. At one visit the clinic was running around 45 minutes behind schedule, which I understand can happen in veterinary care. The difficulty was that there was no communication about the delay until I asked at reception. A quick update to waiting clients would make a big difference and help people manage their time. I appreciate that veterinary practices are busy and unexpected cases can disrupt the schedule. My hope in leaving this feedback is that the practice might review its booking system, stock management, and communication with clients. With a few improvements in these areas, the overall experience could match the dedication the staff clearly have for the animals they care for.

Terrible vets. Multiple terrible experiences here, including not being suggested to put pet down and didn’t feel right. I took my pet home to live many happy and healthy years. Additionally they only care about money. I was immediately given the most expensive treatment plans with no explanation of why and next steps, or more affordable first steps. When emotional in the appointment the vet was cold. I’ve since moved vets and could not be happier, I’ve been listening to and helped in much nicer and helpful ways.

The caring and professionalism shown by Joe the vet and Alex the nurse was second to none. Without them our Dylan wouldn’t be here now. Can’t praise and thank them enough.

Moved from this vet after whole series of errors and issues including: -lost a urine test delivered directly to them. -misdiagnosed my cat with hyperthyroidism, when she actually had cancer (discovered after a seeking a second opinion) - Caused distress whilst on holiday abroad, sending me emails and link for payments for treating a one of our cat. We were frantically trying to contact the pet feeder to find out whats happened. Turns out they were billing me for someone's else's cat. - Suggested appointment at their Cat Clinic in Wye without informing me there is a surge charge for using this clinic. - When raising a complaint about the above including billing me for someone else's cat, I didn't even get an apology. - When registering with a different vet, who requested our pet's records. They had to be asked 4 times between myself and vet, before doing so and then only sent half the files. - Even though they know I've moved my pets to a different vets, they still send me reminders for vaccine appointments and flea treatment. -Also found out the same meds for our cat are about a 1/3 cheaper from the new vets. Absolutely shocking, avoid!

We’ve been bringing our cat, Ginger, here for a check-up ss she was ill for the last couple of days and have been really happy with the care. The vets and nurses are always kind, gentle, and clearly love animals. The facilities are spotless and feel very professional, and it’s reassuring to know they’re a full veterinary hospital. Prices can be a little on the higher side, so it’s worth asking for an estimate before treatment, but the level of care and attention Ginger gets makes it worth it. She’s always calm and well looked after. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a reliable, caring vet team in Ashford. 🐾
