I just wanted to thank the lovely staff at Victoria Park Vets for looking after me and my mum when we recently put down our family dog Jack. It was a very hard time for us but we were really looked after 🥹 🐾

In December 2025 Henry, our beloved greyhound, had a freak accident and became impaled on the branch of a tree. We took him to our vets locally, who said they couldn't operate as it was too complex and that he needed an animal hospital. Time was of the essence, so we called Victoria Park (who had come to our rescue 2 years before) and they told us to come in immediately. Sarah and Archie were shocked when they saw Henry, but Sarah said she would operate on him and devised a plan, but informed us that his chances of survival were not good. The branch had pierced his diaphragm and his lungs had collapsed. Sarah was able to re inflate his lungs as they removed the branch. Approximately 4 hours later and to our amazement Sarah called to say that Henry had pulled through !!!! Although the surgery had been a success there was still a high risk of post surgery complications and infection. The aftercare he received was second to none, Sarah and Archie ensured that every eventuality was covered in his post operative care. To cut a very long story short Sarah and Archie saved his life. We don't have the words to convey our gratitude. Sarah and Archie are such fantastic vets, not only are they highly skilled, they deeply care about their patients and their families as do all of the staff who checked in on us regularly. Thank you thank you thank you xx❤️

I highly recommend this independent family run veterinary practice after coming from Medi Vets. They were all so very welcoming to me and my dog. I have experienced prejudice with people and vets in the past as I own a rottweiller. Sarah and the team left that prejudice at the door and took my dog like any other. We only ever got kindness and understanding when we visited even though we were there for a short time. I just wish we had gone to Sarah and her team sooner for the care and compassion we received.

I moved to this vets when my dogs needed dental work as they publish a clear pricing structure - no hidden costs. One of my dogs became ill a few months ago and we saw the same vet on each visit, which meant they could see Roxy's condition without relying on notes from a colleague. We sadly lost Roxy on the 6th Feb and the whole team were so respectful and sympathetic. Today I received a sympathy card from them, which was very thoughtful.

You know when you walk into somewhere, and you get that welcoming feeling, Victoria Park Vets, is that place. Both receptionist, both very busy with none stop phone calls, but they both weren't flustered by the number of dogs and cats in reception, also whilst trying to book customers in, for their booking appointments. When it was our turn, Mia, the vet, was brilliant with our dog, seeing it's the first time they'd both met. She was having her first check over, for her flea and worm treatment, which is covered by their Pet Plan, of £26 p.c.m. You might think this is dearer than the plan you have, but trust me, just take a look, you seriously won't believe what's covered, and not only that, to spay her, you get a 50% reduction. It's a family run Veterinary Practice, so none of that, over priced payment for just saying hello, but check if what you're having done with your pet, is covered, before jumping in with all fours. 🐶😾. It's tucked in behind the CO-OP, on knutsford road Warrington, with free shared parking, so you never know, I might see you there one day. 😁 Or over the road, giving her a well deserved run, for behaving brilliant 👍

Victoria Park Vets have looked after my two dogs, Roo and Mabel, since we moved back to Warrington a year or so ago. Everyone in the practice is lovely, and they have always been amazing throughout everything my dogs have needed- from small things like clipping the claws of my very scared Roo or advising calming medication for Bonfire Night, right through to operating on Mabel when we found a mass on her chest. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you! Love from Kate, and of course big woofs from Roo and Mabel.
