Wangford Vet Clinic sits at Pound Corner and treats cats and dogs. The practice opens Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:15pm, and Saturday mornings until noon. Services include blood tests, dentistry, X-rays, microchipping, neutering and vaccinations. There's parking on site. For emergencies, the practice has its own vet and nurse on call until 10pm, when calls go through to MiNightVet instead. At weekends, the practice handles its own emergencies until 6pm.

The practice provides 24 hour emergency cover. The practice's own on-call vet and nurse are available for emergencies up until 10pm. After 10pm, phones transfer to MiNightVet. At weekends, the practice continues its own out-of-hours service until 6pm, transferring over for the night only.

Very helpful, caring and efficient. I was a new. Client over a weekend with cat suddenly taken ill, he received excellent care from vets and day and night nurses over his 2 day stay.

I went to have yearly injections for my Labrodour the lady I saw was very abrupt with me and my dog I don’t think she had read my dogs notes to realise what a traumatic time during the last 2 months we had been through otherwise she would have had more understanding of what was going on. This is the first time I have had a bad experience at vets and when I have to go again I shall request that I see someone more pleasant and understanding

We met Walter when he first opened his Veterinary Practice back in 2002. We had 2 x 2year old Golden Retriever brothers back then. They were cared for excellently by Walter for their whole lives and reached the the ages of 14 and 16 .Now Beau ( another Goldie) has been cared for by Walter and staff for the past 10+ years. Walter always has time to listen to your worries and explains what is going on with your pets health. Its a bit of a distance for me to travel but I cant imagine going anywhere else. Recommendation in itself. Thanks to Walter and all staff for caring deeply about our pets.

We needed to have our dogs boosters whilst on holiday. Wangford vets were very thorough and efficient making sure they had all the necessary medical history of our dog prior to our visit to enable them to provide what was required. On the day they kept to the appointment time. The vet was very friendly and thorough. She double checked all the information she had on their system and with me. She was great with our dog. Happy dog and happy owners.

This was my first visit to Wangford vets after a recommendation from a friend and a year on the waiting list. I would highly recommend them, the vet was very interactive with my cat putting him at ease & he definitely enjoyed the lick e lix. I feel confident that he will be cared for in a pet friendly environment with compassion and professionalism

Vet missed a huge lipoma, causing pain to our dog, we all make mistakes but would have been good if the practice manager could have least found time to call to discuss, apparently too busy. Wangford vets not as good as they used to be and obviously not interested in keeping clients.

I highly recommend Wangford Vets. I’ve found all of the staff professional, kind and understanding of how much my dog means to me. They take endless time and trouble to ensure they get a full picture of any problems and explain carefully to me. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Took two cats and dog for annual checkup & vaccination. Great experience for all, poor Bo had wet himself & they were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness, care & kindness xx

When my pet dog Eccles need to go to see the vet appointments are easy to get very one there are so friendly to talk to and understand as well as the vet I would highly recommend this practice
