The veterinary centre operates on a convenient schedule to accommodate the needs of their valued clients and their beloved pets. With office hours from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Mondays through Fridays, and a half-day on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, the centre makes sure that they are readily accessible to provide the care and attention your pet deserves. While Sundays are reserved for a well-deserved break, the team ensures that their clients have ample time throughout the week to address their pet’s healthcare needs.

The veterinary centre prides itself on its diverse and experienced team of professionals. The partners of the practice, Mr Delwyn Barker (BVetMed MRCVS), Miss Catherine Costello (MVB MRCVS), and Mr Gareth Mulligan (BVSc BSc MRCVS), lead a team of skilled veterinary surgeons, including Dr Katie Ball (BVM&S CertAVP MRCVS) and Dr Kathryn Douglas (BVetMed PgC in Feline Veterinary Studies MRCVS).

In addition to their fantastic team of veterinary surgeons, Afon Veterinary Centre also has a dedicated staff of veterinary nurses, led by Head Nurse Mrs Gemma Edwards (RVN). Other qualified and compassionate nurses on the team include Miss Cerys Rees (RVN) and Miss Emma Taylor (RVN). The practice also takes pride in its advanced practitioners who work tirelessly to ensure that each and every patient is treated with the utmost care and respect.

The veterinary centre is fully equipped with an array of facilities designed to cater to the needs of their clients and patients. With a client car park available on-site, Afon Veterinary Centre ensures that your visit is as stress-free as possible.
