All the staff that I have met at Market Vets Barnstaple have been extremely kind to both myself and my pets, We have used them for the past 25 years and have never had a problem they have always been entirely supportive of our decisions and we have never been made to feel guilty if we have turned down any recommendations of treatment. We have just recently had to have one of our cats euthanised here and they went above and beyond to help us with care and dignity. Perhaps they may not be the cheapest option but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for and that’s why we stay here you can always be assured of wonderful treatment and first class customer service

While on holiday in Woolacoombe we visited Barnstaple and Charlie our Cockapoo became unwell. We were 4 hours from home and wanted some help and rang the Market Veterinary Centre who told us to come straight away. We registered and were seen within 15 minutes. We saw Molly and she carried out a thorough examination and reassured us that there was nothing seriously wrong but advised on a short course of treatment as a precaution. We were very impressed with the advice and can honestly say that from the girls on reception through to Molly the professionalism and empathy shown to us was exemplary. Well done, I would highly recommend.

We’ve always had a great experience with Market Vets. The team is always caring, professional, and genuinely attentive to our pets’ needs. They take the time to explain everything clearly and make us feel at ease. It’s reassuring to know our animals are in such good hands. Thank you.

I didn’t already have a vet but when I was concerned about my dog they saw me almost straight away I was met at the reception by lovely staff and the vet was so good with her and explained everything to me and kept me in the loop about costs as we were going through the diagnosis

Couldn’t speak highly enough of all the vets we’ve seen recently with our dog Jessie. They really tried so hard to help her condition and never pressured us into anything just gave us the advice we needed. Unfortunately after months of trying to stabilise her condition we had to make the awful decision to let her go to sleep. We cannot thank both Annie and Ellie enough for the care they gave to Jessie. Ellie was so caring and kind right to the end. Exactly what we needed at such a hard time for us.

Called them with an urgent concern, not yet registered, the receptionist was very easy to talk to and friendly. They managed to fit us in the same day and the vet we saw was really nice, friendly to both us and our dog and took her time. Found them very accommodating.
