Unfortunately ive given one star if i could itd be zero. We had a problem with one of our pet ducks and after ringing around many vets we thought we got lucky with this vets who claimed to have a avian specialist we could have for the appointment which made us very hopefull. all seemed well at first very friendly receptionist but once in the consultation room we instantly realised we were not as lucky as we hoped. The vet said they were infact not the specialist we were told we were seeing which felt off then they went on to doing a check up of our duck which consisted of only weighing her then being addiment she has either metal toxicity or a liver problem so to do what was best we asked if euthanisia would be a option as the vet said both conditions were very hard and almost imposible to treat. They told us it was her time but they could ask the real avain specialist in the back of the clinic for a second opinion. We were happy with this, the vet then took our duck away handling her in a very uncaring manner into the back of the vets and called us back in 5 minutes later after we heard them call our duck who is the most shy gentle thing and cant walk "unco-operative" . The vet came back saying the avian specialist which we never actually saw and at the moment are debating if there even was a specialist said she should be put down.We then left the vets very upset worring that we had to put our family pet down. After almost arranging the euthanasia time and date we called around to see if any vets could just offer a second opinion. We managed to get an emergency appointment at ashleigh vetenery center which was a long travel but definitley worth it. We met a very nice vet who told us gave our pet a proper check up like any other family pet and told us she didnt need euthanasia. They gave us many options to do tests to find out the root of the problem rather than guessing what it was and although more expensive they treated her with such dignity and care that it was well worth the price. Ultimetly they saved our pets life which we will be very grateful for but very appauled and annoyed about vets for pets for telling us to put her down when she could potentially happily live with treatment. They treated her like dirt because she wasnt just a regular pet you expect to see but that is no excuse a pet is a pet no matter the species and shoumd be treated as so. We will never return here and hope other will read this and know to get a second opinion because it may save their life.

I always take my dog here, for annual check ups, inoculation, flea and worm treatment. I have her covered on an insurance policy with Vets4Pets. I also take my dog for a haircut and pamper treatments at the Manchester road Groomers and she comes out looking wonderful 😍

We have recently registered both our dog Stanley and cat Walter at this practice after recommendations from friends. I can honestly say all staff are absolutely fantastic from start to finish and the care they have received has been 2nd to none. They are very reasonably priced and I would recommend this practice one hundred percent and trust them with our pets.

Our dog got attacked and sadly needed to be put to sleep. Vets 4 pets did everything they could to help her but unfortunately the wounds suffered where to severe. We could clearly see the team and Nile care about the wellbeing of animals who end up in their care. They treat our companions in such a humanely manor and therefore I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who has a family animal in need of help. Thank you for looking after our Sadie and doing everything to save her life.
