Brighouse Veterinary Centre

We have been with Brighouse Veterinary Surgery for well over 15 years now, and I honestly cannot imagine trusting anyone else with our dogs. They cared for our beautiful Freddie throughout his life and, at the very end, gave him the most gentle, compassionate care at home when it mattered most. That kindness and compassion is something we will never forget. Now they continue to support us with Princess Poppy and our wonderfully complicated little whirlwind, Gilmore. Every single one of the team has been incredible. Gilmore has had some complex medical and behavioural challenges, and throughout it all they have shown endless patience, understanding and genuine care, not just for him, but for us too. Every member of the team is warm, calm and reassuring. No matter how busy they are, you never feel like just another appointment. They listen, they care, and they always go above and beyond. Finding a veterinary practice you can trust completely is priceless, and after all these years, we are still so grateful we found them ❤️🐾

Took our Dog for his annual boosters yesterday and once again the team are truly incredible. His tail was wagging from start to finish and even got a few treats and some strokes. We moved to Brighouse vets as our previous vets consistently tried to upsell anything and everything, and we are so happy we made this decision. The team are so friendly, helpful and professional and clearly love the work they do. As we’ve been so happy with the care over the years, other family members are also bringing their animals to Brighouse vets now too. Please keep doing what you are doing!

Brighouse Vets is a super practice. They are very helpful, affordable and always fit you in quickly. They are kind people who care about your furry family members. Highly recommend

Not sure the dog is a fan, but we thought they were very friendly on first visit for vaccinations etc and we are happy to continue using as our local vets.

Recently my greyhound Ruby had a dental - she was well looked after/friendly vet and the nurse during hand over gave us a good post op info. Also, I was really impressed with the price I paid which was a nice surprise!

I am so so happy I brought my beautiful elderly cat here for a second opinion. The vet Olivia was absolutely fantastic, kind, knowledgeable, thoughtful and has restored my faith in vets again after a bad experience. The receptionist is lovely and helpful. I can’t recommend this practice and team enough.I am so thankful. You can trust the team to take good care of your fur babies here ❤️

We sadly said goodbye to our lovely rescue cat Tizzy in December 2025. All the staff at Brighouse Veterinary Practice were very caring and understanding in her final couple of months with us. 💔 Thank you to everyone who cared for Tizzy and we highly recommend the practice in Brighouse .

Today we had to say goodbye to out beautiful elderly African Pygmy Hedgehog. Brighouse Vetinary Centre were incredibly kind, professional and supportive with his end of life care. Sadly we knew it was time due to his age and suffering a stroke and even though I knew it was coming, both myself and my pet were met with compassion and patience. BVC were clear explaining the end of life care and process and I took him home immediately after for burial. Lovely facilities and staff and appreciate all your help and effort. Xx
