I brought my dog here for the first time and had a nice experience at that visit. Everyone was friendly although the appointment was quick. As advised by the vet, I brushed my dog’s teeth a day or two later to find a broken tooth on my older dog that isn’t a chewer. I brought the dog back in 4 days from the original visit and was surprised at the sizable consultation fee for the service when it seemed likely that this was missed on the original visit. Quotes were sent to remove or repair the tooth that were very expensive and I chose to also get another, independent vet to quote. This vet also advised that the tooth had likely been broken a while based on his examination. I also sent an email to the Mullacott practice asking for some relief on the £90+ consultation bill due to my concerns above with it likely being missed at the first visit and they refused. So my personal opinion is that, from higher prices to customer service, this practice has a corporate-vet approach. As mentioned almost everyone onsite is lovely, but I personally will take my business elsewhere.

My puppy mini Schnauzer (boy) had his little man operation. The quality of care was very professional. We also had a follow up phone call the next day. So far 5/5 😊

My budgie got taken in yesterday after a cat had got hold of him, I was so so scared I was never gonna see my baby birdie again and was devastated. My partner went up and they did everything possible to make sure my Rio was okay! Thankyou so much for taking care of him and helping him get home! I am so so grateful! They’ve also seen my cat Charlie a few times and are always so great and helpful with him too 🥰

While on holiday in the area one of our dogs took very ill. We called Charter vets for an emergency appointment, they were very accommodating and saw us almost immediately. When we arrived Suzie was taken for an examination and monitoring. The Vet came to us with her diagnosis and gave us plenty of time to make our informed decision. Sadly we decided it was her time to cross the rainbow bridge. The Vet agreed that this was the kindest and most compassionate course of action to take. The Vet explained to us what would happen next and we gently let Suzie go. All the staff that we encountered were so very kind and compassionate with Suzie and us, we are so grateful for everything that they did for us.

Really pleased with the service from the lovely receptionists and the vet. Wished they were our regular vets (used whilst on holiday). Quick efficient service, really helpful and kind. Thank you x
