UPDATE: Just days after my original post I did receive a personal phone call from one of the Vets who offered a very humble and heartfelt apology for the interaction I had. He confirmed that my experience was NOT acceptable and not what they would expect their service to be. He showed genuine interest in my lamb, asked if there was any assistance he could offer and said he would be happy to help in future. I have now registered at this surgery and would consider using them in emergency situations going forward. I very much appreciated his approach in trying to right the wrong and our lamb Sassy is doing much better now! ORIGINAL POST: Most uncaring vet practice I’ve ever come across. I’m a new lamb owner and have a badly limping 10 day old lamb! I called first thing when the vets opened up and said I’d take any time slot they had available. The woman said they had a 4pm slot but then said they couldn’t take me because I’m not yet “registered” with the practice! I said I’ve not had farm animals until 10 days ago when I got this lamb so I’m not registered anywhere and she’s been limping for 3 days and today it’s gotten a lot worse! I told her I would go online immediately and give them any details they needed to secure the late afternoon appointment. But she still said no!! She said it takes 24 hours for them to process the registration!! I’ve got an injured lamb and money to pay to have her treated, I literally live down the road!! What could be so complicated that they can’t see my lamb today!! It’s an emergency and the animal is clearly in pain the way she’s limping!! No compassion!!! You have the availability, but you’re going to say no anyway!

We have used Chaseview Vets since moving to the area 10 years ago and they have cared for four of our pets over that time, two of whom are sadly no longer with us. Throughout it all, the team have been exceptional. The reception staff are always friendly, considerate and professional, and the vets and nurses are consistently fantastic. They take the time to explain everything clearly and never rush you, which I really appreciate. What always stands out is how they speak in a way that makes you feel fully informed and confident about the care your pet is receiving. It’s clear they genuinely care about both the animals and their owners. I cannot recommend them highly enough

This was my first visit with my dog Oscar to Chase View and I was very pleased with the visit. Good for parking and plenty of room in an airy waiting room. Not long to wait with my appointment being on time. The appointment was for a wellness check up which was well carried out and I had useful advice from the vet. Pleased I joined the practice.

It's always tough losing a pet, especially when the hardest decision has to be made for their benefit, not ours. Our recent example was to say goodbye to Sunny, our lovely mackerel tabby, aged approx 8, suffering kidney failure. Thanks to Will, James, Lauren and Kayla of Chase Veterany clinic, he had the best treatment and care - as did we throughout a worrying time. They were all lovely and considerate, and at no time did we consider ourselves under pressure when the final decision had to be made. Ann & Adrian

Staff from reception to nurses and vets are all amazing- pets and owners get first class treatment. We have never felt rushed, not listened to or felt our pets weren’t getting the best treatment and experience. I cannot thank James and the staff enough for saving my extremely poorly little girl, who nearly didn’t make it!! The immediate responses to my phonecall at 2:46am yesterday and meeting me at the practice shortly after, really did save her life!! You did absolutely everything in your power for my darling Dini the Duchess, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving my precious baby!! Dini is not out of the woods yet as the next 48 hours are crucial, but is home resting with amazing and special aftercare instructions, medicine and food… My beyond brave little girl is very lethargic, but is managing to give me lots of licks, and she is snuggled up to me close and tight!! What a fighter she is!! 🐾🩷 She could not have done it without the incredible care from Chaseview Vets, who always provide the best care to my babies!! I will be forever grateful 🫶🏼
