I had a disappointing experience at the Ruislip branch of Vets4Pets. I travelled around 25 minutes for a pre-booked appointment, but during the visit I was told my vaccination voucher could not be accepted due to date issues, and I was instead asked to pay £108. This was frustrating, especially as I have used the same voucher at another branch without any problems. Although one of the reception staff members was polite and tried to help, the overall experience was let down by poor handling and lack of consistency. I was also charged £25 for nail trimming despite being quoted £19, and after checking with other branches, this pricing seems inconsistent. Overall, the experience felt disorganised and frustrating, made worse by the attitude of the vet. I hope improvements are made in communication, consistency, and customer service.

I can’t speak more highly of this veterinary practice. Initially Vets for Pets South Ruislip was my second choice as I had tried the top rated vets in the area on Google and not been able to get an appointment. Vets for pets was the next highest rated, so I gave them a call. From start to finish they were simply impeccable and I’m so glad I was not able to get through to the first veterinary practice! I have no doubt we ended up in the place for us. The receptionist was very quick on the phone – I was really worried about my cat as she had been vomiting blood she got me an appointment within a couple of hours. No fuss or trying to take millions of details over the phone - that was all done later with no stress for me. I was seen very quickly after arriving at reception. The vet who saw us, Aathirai, was nothing short of incredible. She clearly knew what she was doing and I had a really anxious pet who she managed extremely well; there was no point where I didn’t have full confidence in her and her expertise. She even let us sit in an empty consulting room to wait for the meds to take effect and settle my cat down. We didn’t feel rushed. We didn’t feel like an inconvenience. In fact now we are home, I feel so relieved as we can start on the road to recovery. We have lots of recommended food products, electrolytes, hydration supplements to keep the cat on and the Veterinary Nurse at reception took time (even though it was way past closing) to talk me through everything in detail. Thankfully, there’s not too much wrong with Little Eleven the Bengal! But if there was I know vets for pets South Ruislip are the best place for her. We went from a desperate appointment made in sheer panic to a veterinary practice that I’m sure we will stay with for life. Thank you so much to the whole team-the receptionist, the gentleman who came into help (whose name I don’t know) and the vet. Incredible. Pets are family, you want to know they’re in the hands of people who really care. That was Aathirai and the team in South Ruislip.

Jordine has been so lovely booking our appointments and scheduling our cat for follow ups. When there qas an issue she and the team at ruislip quickly resolved it. The vets are amazing as well and so are the nursees. Eventhough it is not our local branch it was our branch by choice due to the staff.

My dog had to have her vaccinations today. She is very nervous. She saw the vet Aathi, who is very good with nervous animals. She took the time to put my dog at ease and it all went without a hitch. I have used this vets for all my animals for many years. Head vet Elijah is wonderful as are all the nursing staff and receptionists. Definitely recommend.

We had to put my sons guinea pig down today as she had an infection. Monika was superb as she took the time to understand and explain what was happening. She gave us a card with Midnights paw prints and some cuts of her fur for us to remember her by. Thank you Monika and team.

When I first took out healthcare cover for my dog Jan 2021 he got on a monthly basis his anal glands emptied. Then at an increased fee the anal gland’s treatment was reduced to 6, then to 3 a year. I was extremely disappointed. I have now found a vet that gives me once a month a far cheaper rate. I would very much like to thank the ladies in reception, Gayle, Maria & Jordine for their professional and friendly service.

I stupidly changed vets to try vets for pets as they told me what a great care plan they have and they were open 7 days a week. I desperately needed all of my 3 cats looked at and booked them all in. On the same day I received a phone call saying they had to cancel as they have an emergency. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rebooked for a few days later. Low and behold they cancelled again!! Bearing in mind I am self employed and have now had to reschedule work twice. Surely they should have more than one vet in. Please don't waste your time and go to Greenwood vets instead. I have never had this problem with a vets before. I can understand once but twice is really not acceptable.
