I brought my 11 year old rescue dog in, who has a long, well documented history of chronic allergies and recurring ear infections. Over the years, multiple vets in different practices have run cytology tests many times, all coming back with the same findings, and have consistently prescribed the same medication when flare-ups occur. Despite this, the vet refused to issue even a single prescription and insisted on more testing and additional appointments, without acknowledging that these tests have already been done repeatedly with the same outcome. Every other vet we’ve seen has been able to provide repeat prescriptions when needed, whereas this practice would only consider issuing medication one appointment at a time. This made the approach feel less about Marley’s welfare and more about pushing further visits and costs. Overall, I felt dismissed and pressured into unnecessary appointments rather than offered practical, proportionate care for a well-managed chronic condition. I also requested to have the annual vaccination done during this appointment, I was two weeks early, and the vet said that medically speaking I need to come back again, pay for another appointment in two weeks. Only to find out form my other vet that this isn’t true. Don’t recommend. Won’t be returning. The vet is question in the picture below. Maybe the other vets are alright but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this one. I never had such a bad experience at any vets in my life.

Money grabbing vultures that are all about the bottom line and not the welfare of the animals they treat - despite their veterinary oath. After paying for 6 animals on a plan, where the flea treatment did not work, my pets were left with sores. On reviewing alternative medication, I found an effective solution, which required a prescription. They charged me a consultation for each animal and a prescription fee (all fine, if not excessive on the consultation for flea treatment). Unfortunately, my daughter threw away the prescriptions in an energetic bout of cleaning. On asking the practice to reissue these for us, their response was, “Yes, if you pay again.” Each prescription has a unique number that can not be used again, so it is not as if I was trying to circumvent the system, these things can be tracked and are regulated. So why charge again for a service that has already been paid for, a great expense (although still cheaper than their pet plan!!)? Criminal that a surgery that is supposed to prioritise the welfare of the animals would cling so fearfully to another opportunity to claw money from a worried pet owner. When trying to discuss the matter to ascertain the surgeries reasoning for this calamity, I was told I would have to pay for an appointment to see the vet!!!! There must be better practices with a greater moral fortitude, so I urge you to look elsewhere with other options in Fleet.

Great staff and service. My dog hates the vets but tolerates it all because of the staff. My dog has to go back in after this initial review as she became unwell. The staff truly went above and beyond in all aspects of care, even washing her bed as well as her! Can't thank the whole team enough!! Thank you from Holly the noisy white German Shepherd

Only had great experiences! Both our kittens were neutered and spayed here and the staff are incredible. We’ve only been with them about 3 months now but every single experience has been lovely. They all really care about the cats and their prices are very reasonable. My friend recommended this veterinary centre and later found out lots of my friends with animals go here too. They’re amazing with the animals and you can tell they have a love for every single one. Lovely homely feeling and would strongly recommend.
