They have been apsolutly brilliant throughout when it comes to anything. The staff are so patient whilst my first horse was going through strangles and I'm honestly quite surprised they've not told me off for ringing them so much over the 3 months of the strangles debacle. The staff are so knowledgeable and patient and I hope I'm still in network when I move yards as they have been that brilliant x

As owner of Seven Hills Stud Ltd, I decided to change vets in 2025 for all of our stud and reproduction work. The main focus of our business is reproduction and the need to have excellent, committed vets to ensure maximum reproductive rates is paramount. The service I received from EVC and Libby Dutton has been absolutely top class. For the first time ever, we got 5 mares in foal on the first attempt and had the most successful breeding season we have ever had. Libby has been diligent, goes above and beyond and has demonstrated her experience and knowledge not only through her professionalism but in her results - we have the most mares pregnant this year that we have ever had, with fewer complications and happier mares. Libby has been on the other end of the phone at midnight and 06:00 when we have needed urgent support, without a question and always with a reassuring word (and sense of humour when needed!) I would not hesitate to recommend EVC and Libby not only for reproductive work but for everything equine - EVC have not only taken over our stud work but all of our day-to-day veterinary needs. We look forward to continuing our work with EVC in future.

Fantastic knowledgeable staff, super friendly & helpful. Found these guys after our local equine vet retired and we bounced around a few before settling with these guys. Kind with our rescue pony, young horses and they loved our steady solid cob. Keep up the good work 😊

Disappointing and highly unprofessional. A vet’s role during a vetting is to provide impartial, factual advice—not to offer personal opinions or make disparaging remarks. Libby Dutton appeared to overstep this role. Despite both buyer and seller agreeing that the vetting process would be transparent and open to all involved, Libby insisted that the seller should take the horse to the stable (completely out of the way of where she and potential buyer stood) and then gave the buyer unsolicited personal opinions, describing the seller as 'suspicious' and 'dodgy' then continuing to say ‘categorically, do not buy this horse.’ This conduct is entirely inappropriate and undermines the professionalism expected in such circumstances. To add to the concern, her lack of knowledge as a vet was questionable when she questioned whether a clearly fresh wound—still bleeding slightly and likely only a couple of hours old—could have been an old scar from an injection or procedure the horse underwent five years ago, stated windgalls on the horse were a problem, when the horse categorically DOES NOT have them. Libby repeatedly stated, at least three times within the first ten minutes of arriving for the vetting, 'IF we even get to the blood tests,' which gave the impression that she had no real intention of reaching that stage of the examination, before she has even started. Just to top it off, said horse has been seen by 2 other very highly rated vets for full lameness work ups, scans and X-rays since Libbys visit as I was absolutely shocked and devastated, and not a single thing was found, both vets said horse is completely sound and nothing to show on scans or x-rays!!
