From the minute we walked in I felt myself & Rubie were in excellent hands. We had been referred to see Mark from Halifax by our vet due to my dog's persistent pain. The reception staff were welcoming & professional. Mark was so good with Rubie, he sat on the floor with her & I felt really listened to when he asked me to explain what had been happening. He clearly loves what he does & it's more than a job for Mark - he has such a gentle nature & is very knowledgeable & didn't mind me asking questions. I have been super impressed & am so happy my dog has received such fabulous care. Thank you all for your part in our visit from Halifax.

I recently moved from Springfield vets in Rotherham due to our dog becoming travel sick who I have been with for 25 years and they have always been outstanding in both animal and customer care and come under the same CVS vets umbrella at Beechwood,he has a monthly injection for arthritis and it was costing £123 at Springfield and at Beechwood £187,I enquired as to why the price was so different as they were the same vet group and was given a response basically that they could charge this so tough luck and thats what Springfield should have been charging.I decided to look at the cost of the exact same treatment at 2 Counties which is less than 5 minutes away and you can imagine my surprise when they charge £87 for the same thing, needless to say Beechwood didnt care about this and was quite happy to keep ripping off its clients even in this cost of living crisis. If you work it out the appointment is 15 minutes and done by a nurse meaning that if 2 Counties can make money charging £87 then Beechwood must be making over £100 per appointment which averages at £400 per hour (and probably paying the nurse less that £20) NO WONDER VETS HAVE A BAD NAME FOR OVERCHARGING.I would strongly suggest shopping round vets for prices as sometimes the local ones are far better and in this case Beechwood just do not care.

We were visiting family when our dog Willow became ill and needed an emergency operation. Everything about Beechwood was great- from the initial consultation, liaising with our home vet, carrying out the operation and the after care and advice. We are so grateful to all the staff for their professionalism, expertise and kindness. Willow is making an excellent recovery thanks to Beechwood!

Had to seek the help and assistance with my cat Moon who had been attacked by another cat. He's a 19yr old cat and has lost his hearing. He was shocked and traumatised after a bite to his face that was bleeding quite a bit and other wounds to his legs. The Vet and Nurse were lovely with him and understanding. I was so glad they were on hand as this happened at a weekend when my local vets were closed. He's still a bit subdued but thank you. Linda

We travelled to Doncaster from Scotland to visit family. We had driven down with our 14 year old dog who unexpectedly lost the use of her back legs on arrival in Doncaster. The next morning she had shown no signs of improvement and we were recommended Beechwood Veterinary Hospital. I rang them at 8am and they were able to contact our vet in Scotland to get our dogs records and were able to provide an early appointment at 10:30am. The receptionist was very kind and helpful on the phone and I appreciated their helping us out with such short notice, considering we were not registered with their practice. By the time we arrived for the appointment, our poorly doggo wasn’t looking too great at all and the vet feared the worst. They whisked her away for tests and 90 minutes later somehow returned with a much happier dog who was walking, albeit on wonky legs. And she has continued to improve since. We were given time and the help we needed and they even made payment via claiming from our pet insurance easy. We were so grateful to find this practice and to get some much needed help for our elderly dog who means the world to us. An all round positive experience and not just because the outcome was a positive one, it was the way the practise dealt with our situation, and how willing they were to support us at such short notice, when we really needed emergency help. Fantastic! And so very grateful!!

We visited Beechwood Veterinary Clinic for a second opinion and were fortunate to meet Malgorzata. She was absolutely terrific. Malgorzata took her time and explained everything in detail, and her expertise was evident throughout the appointment. This experience was a significant improvement over our previous vet, where we often felt rushed and uncertain. Beechwood demonstrated today that choosing them was the best decision we could have made for our pet's care. We are confident in their abilities and have decided to make Beechwood our permanent vet clinic. Highly recommended!
