Having recently moved into the area from a different county, I am so impressed with the service from South Lincs Veterinary Group. All the staff from reception to the clinical team are friendly, listen with attention to what the issues are with our dogs and come up with a planned way forward. Having recently used the out of hours service I was again so impressed with the care and attention to both my dog and to what I was concerned about. When the Freiston reception followed up with a phone call the next day to see how our dog was getting on, was so considerate and caring, which seems the philosophy of this Veterinary Group. Thank you to you all for being there. Teresa Hawkins

Our Pug “Winnie” gets anxious but the Veterinary Nurses do manage to calm her down before treatment. rather than rushing her. Worse thing is having her paws clipped 🐾 I think after 4.5 years she’s getting used to it. The staff really are excellent.

So far so good! Only had a few visits for annual jabs and check ups,all good. One "emergency" on a Saturday, phoned, very helpful on the phone and fitted us in straight away, a check and anti inflammatory medication followed, no further follow up needed, but again very helpful. To add to our review, sadly lost our dog to a brain tumor, the care and effort of all the staff we dealt with was second to none. We ended up taking her to the Sutterton branch (due to being able to keep her overnight on a drip and closely monitor her) where she finally gave up her battle. The following morning we had a call from the Freiston vet saying how sorry she was to hear that she didn't make it, and what a lovely dog she was. May seem unimportant to some people, but meant a lot to us. I would say that as a company, they went above and beyond expectations. We continue to use them with both of our current dogs and have no hesitation in recommending them to everyone.

Can't trust South Lincs Vets/Marshlands Vets after my experience. Took my dog in for a check-up as he'd been sick over the weekend, as soon as we arrived, a nurse/vet was shocked my a 'lump' they saw on the side of my dog. I couldn't see or feel a lump, but agreed to have an ultrasound. A few hours later, the practice called to explain they had found a mass and couldn't provide any further investigation or care. All that could be offered was end-of-life treatment. Upon collecting my dog, there was no vet to talk to, no results to see and no care to be given. Very strange for end-of-life diagnosis. I took my dog for a second opinion. They explained that an ultrasound needed to be booked in and the animal shouldn't have anything to eat 12 hours prior. The ultrasound and blood work came back clear. Nothing. I was provided with digital and hard copies. The second vet requested the animals records and test results showing the mass/tumour. They were never provided. I reached out, after a week of waiting, to be sent my dogs full medical report via email. My dogs medical record was incorrect. Stating the incorrect sex! They’ve had HIM down as a female for 7 years! When Marshlands was questioned about this, they apologised and brushed it off, pressuring me to come in for another ultrasound at a practice further away. I was told I should take the free scan appointment and I’m a poor owner to not take him in. I explained how I don’t want to put him through another investigation to cover the vets back, the original results should be accessible, especially due to the severity of the diagnosis. To date, no one from this practice has apologised, offered any solution, or refund - nothing. We spent over £2k between the two vets, all because Marshlands can't keep their records organised and provide care within their service. I hope no one goes through the hell we went through with Marshlands. ——— Of course Marshland can’t find the records. That’s what the complaint is about. Nothing Marshlands do is on record. Terrible irresponsible vets. As the owner of Marshlands, are you not disappointed to read this review? Sounds like this is the expected experience of Marshlands…
