Blossom, the rescue cat, visited Goddards vets today for a pre treatment check before she goes in for some dental work soon. Having been handed into them some years ago after being discovered in a box left in local woods she was gleefully welcomed back by staff, and their resident rescue cat potato. The staff at Goddards truly love and care for animals, going above and beyond for them, thankyou xx

I’ve been with this vet for many years and pay proactive for all my pets which I think is really worth it. But recently I was so disappointed with the care that was provided for my miniature Dachshund. I see the vet, don’t know her name because she never introduces herself, but was an Irish lady. My dog has been balding and constantly itching and sore ears. She didn’t even bother to look in his ears and just told me it was an allergy and that the medication will cost £200 a month. I told her I can’t afford that but instead of being empathetic she just said ‘I don’t set the prices it’s not like it’s going in my pocket’. No alternative medication was discussed and I’ve since had a second opinion from another vet and was told there is more than one medication that can be tried. This experience has actually made me reconsider staying with this veterinary practice which is a shame because up until then I’ve never had any problems. It seems to me that this vet was more about commission than actually caring about the animals!

£449 I was charged to put my cat to sleep and collect his ashes. Disgusted with these prices. OVERCHARGED no wonder why the government is getting involved with greedy corporations

not a bad word to say about this vets! my cat has been registered here for about 7 months now - she has had her vaccinations here, monthly check ups, an ear infection treated and recently neutered. they‘ve been nothing but informative, present and also very reasonably priced! i pay £17.50 a month for my cat’s flea and worming treatment as well as discounts on anything else we may need (such as her recent surgery)! me and serafina really appreciate everyone here at goddard vet’s! thank you for everything you do! 10/10!

Yesterday I popped into thamesmead practice for advise and I must say how helpful and professional the lady was. I purchased what I thought was a 8 week old jack Russell I didn't believe it was that old.The receptionist booked me a app for today so a vet could check him over I went to my app it was on time not like the PDSA .The vet checked my Boris over and confirmed he was only 6 weeks but then he advised me to book his injections for -3 weeks time .When I left I was told because it was a puppy check my visit was free today very impressed is a under statement thanks again
