If I could give a 0 I would. Took my dog to see the emergency vet. Gave him three injections and told me to take him to the vets in the morning. Whatever he gave him killed him within the hour. Will never take a pet here again! They killed my baby.

Just wanted to leave a lovely review on here for the lovely team at vets for pets dagenham, after my sad loss of our family cat ginger, they was nothing but kind, understanding, sympathetic and professional. They took great care of him and couldn't have asked for better care for ginger and his cremation. ❤️❤️

At our first meeting, the vet began the appointment telling me about the vaccination process while giving disapproving looks, I was uncomfortable but assumed this was out of concern/care. But he then went on a weird aggressive rant assuming that I'm going to leave my cat alone on a plane, during which he physically acted out her having a seizure and dying, angrily asking me what I will do. In response to me being visibly stressed and speechless (I have autism), he then turned away from me and mockingly said "look at her" to a family member in the room with me. This stressed me out to the point the person with me had to temporarily take over the appointment, the fact I am autistic was made known to him yet he continued talking down to me when I tried to resume and just finish the appointment, all while a conversation STILL hadn't taken place about our future travelling. The whole experience was very distressing, surreal and bizzare. I felt really embarrassed while I had to try to gather myself to speak to the receptionist afterwards, honestly all round traumatic experience. On the plus, the receptionist and nurses seem very lovely but avoid the vet 'Stefan Birza'.

I have always had a good experience here however I had an appointment with the vet STEVE and this was my first bad experience. I see there has also recently been another bad review about Steve too. All the vets here are nice however Steve spoke to me in a very condescending and undermining manner, making me feel like I’m stupid for bringing my kitten into the vet after noticing some unusual signs. I reported him to the vet surgery and they did not acknowledge my complaint for several weeks especially after I chased them up 3 times. I am still waiting for them to acknowledge my complaint. I am very concerned at their lack of acknowledgment and accountability for their staff’s poor treatment. AVOID STEVE.

I have 13 cats and have neutered every single one of them, but this experience was the worst I’ve ever had. Steve was extremely rude to us and treated my cat aggressively, even pinching them. He sat on his chair the whole time, rolling his eyes, giving dirty looks, and even made us take the cat out of the basket — something vets usually do. We were already worried as my cat was going in for surgery, and instead of reassuring us, he made us feel worse. If this is how he behaves in front of owners, I dread to think how he handles animals behind closed doors. I’m very disappointed and believe this needs to be properly looked into.

We took out two cats to get neutered, spayed, vaccinates and microchipped. Staff were very friendly and insured both the cats were very comfortable. They talked us through the procedure and insured good communication throughout. Furthermore they were very accommodating to my needs as I couldn’t collect the cats earlier due to work.
