We visited Animal Ark Vets on Monday for our cat Monty’s vaccination. The vet, Aysen was so efficient and thorough. Monty had become very stressed (always the case when he’s been on a car journey) and Aysen carefully checked his heart and waited for Monty to relax a little before his injection. A lovely, caring vet. Thank you.

My cat was vaccinated but I was not given a vaccination booklet. I didn’t realise one should be provided until another vet asked for it at my next appointment (well I assumed she was a vet). I asked for an appointment card as I can be quite forgetful, but I was assured I would receive a reminder text message instead. I never received the text. When I asked if a vaccination booklet could be provided at the next visit- when my cat received the second dose, I was told it needed to be signed by a vet and no vet was available. This made me question who administered the second dose. I had assumed it was a vet, but it may have been a nurse, in any case they could have introduced themselves. I also signed up for a flea treatment subscription and was told it would be posted to me every 3 months. However at my appointment I was told it needs to be applied monthly. Overall I’m not satisfied with the service I’ve received and have concerns about how things have been handled.

This is the WORST vet I’ve ever been to, they ran loads of unnecessary tests when the issue with my pet was simple and straightforward. Took her to another vet who identified the issue immediately and gave treatment for it, don’t waste your time or money on this good for nothing vet. They do not care about your pet, just their wallets. I sent a complaint email which they took over two weeks to reply to, but when I cancelled my pet contract with them, they were very quick to send me multiple emails throughout the day, demanding I send the remaining balance. I hope this “business” gets shut down.

A friend highly recommended Animal Ark to me as they are now independently owned and I had my first appointment there yesterday. I had a really positive experience, firstly I had my daughters dog with me and my dog, a lovely kind nurse Kaylee came out to help me bring them in due to my disability. The reception team were also very friendly and greeted us like friends, I love the idea of keeping cats and dogs in separate areas, even though some cat owners chose to stay upstairs. I saw Ri and Dara, who treated us like they've known us for years, the dogs loved them as much as they both loved the dogs, Dara I'm sorry my boy sent you flying with his enthusiastic hug, and Ri I'm sorry about both giving you enthusiastic kisses, you were both amazing with my boy who's been a bit unsure about vets lately after his stay at another vet recently and he got prodded and poked with needles but he trusted you which ment so much to me. I would also like to add that Animal Ark is also disabled friendly and they have customers parking, even tho it took me over an hour to get there i will/ already have been recommending this practice to my local area. Thank you every one for the pleasant experience, I wish you all much success

Absolutely brilliant service! I travelled all the way from north London to see Dr Ri as I’d heard such great things about her. She treated my 17 year old cat as if it was her own- at one point there were 3 members of the team on hand to ensure he was receiving the best possible service and to ensure his stress, anxiety and discomfort was kept to a minimum. Despite the extra travel, I’m definitely going to make this practice Dexter’s new home!

Would not take Cody anywhere else. Animal Ark Team are always considered and willing to go the extra mile to put us at ease when we have concerns.

Extremely disappointing practice. On two separate occasions I was pushed straight towards unnecessary, invasive and very expensive procedures with barely any explanation. It came across as money-driven rather than focused on my dog’s actual needs. Both times I went elsewhere for a second opinion, and both times it was confirmed that the extreme treatments suggested here were not required at all. That alone says everything. Communication was rushed, dismissive, and felt like a box-ticking exercise. I sent a formal complaint which they have completely ignored, yet they were very quick to chase payment. That sums up the priorities of this clinic. After these experiences, I have zero trust in this practice and will never return. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
