I've been going to Hart Vets for years and always receive good service and care there. I always get seen quite quickly when I make appointments, even on the day appointments when my cat is poorly.

We have been using Harts since they first opened. They have looked after all our dogs. But unfortunately now it is no longer family owned it has gone very downhill. You never seen the same vet twice, prices have rocketed and it just seems to be a money making exercise. Our last visit was for our dogs booster vaccination and the vet we saw not only didn't look like he wanted to be there he didn't come across that he even liked dogs. So we now have registered with a different vets practice.

The receptionist was not at welcoming. I stood waiting with my ailing dog wrapped in a blanket, while she chatted to a colleague. Then even when that conversation ended she failed to acknowledge me, or ask me about my appointment. Conversely the vet was so tremendously kind, attentive and sensitive. She created a safe compassionate place for me to say a final goodbye to my little companion, a moment I’m not likely to forget. Thank you.

Regrettably we had to contact Hart Veterinary Center the other week, out of hours, as our rabbit had suddenly got incredibly poorly. They were able to give advice to me, and were able to euthanise him, with less than an hours notice. I found them to be very compassionate, and professional, and we were able to say goodbye to our rabbit, Bongo. I can only comment on the costs of euthanisa out of service, as i know if he wasnt euthanised, there would have been a rather large bill (which unfortunately i think is just a sign of the times, not this particular practice), and although nobody ever wants these bills etc... and theres never a good time, i found on this occasion to be competitive and in line with what is to be expected. The final little gesture of sending me a condolence card with seeds to plant a flower, was really a nice touch, and has been appreciated by myself and my family. Thank you. Chris

We have been using Hart Vets for over 20 years. The care and service we have received over the years has always been excellent. I highly recommend taking out one of their health plans for your pet. For an affordable monthly fee, it covers annual vaccinations, a six month health check up, All flea and worming treatments are included too. Not only does it offer a saving compared to pay as you go, it also spreads the cost equally over 12 months. Our cat Luna (a Nebelung - see pictures) never gets stressed when visiting Hart Vets. The separate waiting areas for dogs and cats works really well at keeping the stress levels down for both pets and owners. I highly recommend this practice no matter what your pet is!
